Designed by Otto Weisert and released by his foundry in 1902 [Linotype]. Hans Reichardt credits it to C. Kloberg, c. 1897. Also sold by many other foundries under various names, including Reklame Kursiv by Stempel (accompanied by the lighter Merkur), Favorit by Trennert, Ronda Universal by Gans, and Caligraph by Caslon. Revived by Letraset in the 1970s. Berthold had it as Calligraphia, URW as Kelvin (1996).
