A series of bas relief effect variants derived from existing styles, shown in Photo-Lettering’s One Line catalog (1971). The phototypesetting studio mentions they can add such effects to any solid letter. The shown ready-made styles are Bas Relief B (PLINC Madison), C (a gothic), D (a square sans), E and F (Hobo), G (Cooper Black, 1969), K (a bold grotesk). Bas Relief A might have been skipped for Henrion Relief, an all-caps slab serif with a similar effect that, unlike the others, was already shown in Alphabet Thesaurus Vol. 2 (1965).
