A revival of Nobel by S.H. de Roos (Lettergieterij Amsterdam, 1929), started in 1990 and first released in 1993 with DTL, who had acquired the rights from Tetterode [Dutch Type], in 3 weights, 2 of them with italics, plus 2 condensed weights. Andrea Fuchs and Fred Smeijers also digitized the Open (i.e. inline) and Schaduw caps, as well as dotted and reverse dotted display caps and a set of geometric ornaments, but these remained unreleased. As of 2016, the published series spans 4 weights with italics, plus 3 condensed weights (upright only). Among other things, DTL Nobel is distinguished by the pointed apexes in ‘AMNVW’ across all styles.
