A modernized Fraktur of unknown origin, with several romanized glyphs (e.g. ‘kAEGIKST’). Some of the more conventional shapes seem to be identical with Special Alphabets 2 (Monotype).

Appears as OPTIModern-Blackletter (Castcraft, 1990–1991). Dieter Steffmann’s version is named Moderne Fraktur (1999, not to be confused with the Linotype version of Amts-Fraktur). It was extended and corrected by Peter Wiegel in 2012.
