“Created in 1932 by German teacher, calligrapher and printer Herbert Post, Post-Antiqua originally consisted of capital letters only. Then, in 1939 Berthold released the lower case letters.” — MyFonts
The initial caps-only version known as Altschrift was cut by Paul Koch for Burg Giebichenstein. [Klingspor] Berthold sold it as Post-Versal even after the lowercase was added. It also has Greek characters.
