Cut by Bauer in 1893 on the occasion of the World’s Fair in Chicago. A Rational serif with gently rounded circular shapes (b c d o p), but very abrupt, angular shoulders (a m n u). Cut in two different flavors, with round and angular lowercase glyphs [Archiv]. The designer is unknown.
