29LT Zarid Serif is a combination of an Arabic Naskh Mastari designed by Pascal Zoghbi in 2014 with a serif Latin counterpart added by Khajag Apelian in 2015. The Arabic is based on Imarat Headlines, a black display style created by Zoghbi for the Emarat Al Youm newspaper in 2007. 29LT Zarid Serif spans 8 weights. In 2017, it was extended with Slanted styles, incl. Latin italics provided by Jan Fromm.
