A set of 38 modules (referred to as Polotypy/Halbtypen, i.e. “half types”) that can be combined into letterforms, borders, and ornaments, among other things. Designed by V. Kánsky ́in 1928 for the Czech foundry Slévárna písem [Reichardt 2011].

Patrona Plain, Casual, and Round is a digital revival and major expansion made by Matyáš Machat for Superior Type in 2021. Czech Stencil JNL is a limited digital revival, based on a showing in Stencil Type by Louise Fili and Steven Heller (Thames and Hudson, 2015).
