Signal was designed by Walter Wege for Berthold in 1931. A lighter Script-Signal and heavier Block-Signal were released in 1932. In 1934, a Deutsch-Signal with German Kurrentschrift letterforms was added. Berthold offered only one of these weights in digital format and even that one now appears to be unavailable.
Two forms of ‘r’ were offered, in roman and cursive forms, along with other alternates.
Many other German script resemble this design. We will list them as we find them.
