A reinterpretation of Salut (Klingspor, 1931), made in 1980 by Alan Meeks for Letraset. The most striking differences in Einhorn include the two-story ‘a’, the round-top ‘A’, the missing left-curling terminals for ‘ABDFHIKMNPRX’ etc., and the omission of Germanisms like the spur on ‘J’ or the crossbar on ‘xXZ’.
Digitally available from ITC (as ITC Einhorn) and others. In Linotype’s version, the letters do not quite join. FontSite’s version of Einhorn is confusingly named Salut.
