Lichte Motor was cut by the Ludwig & Mayer foundry in 1930, after drawings by Karl Sommer. Lichte is German for “bright” (not “light”): it is decorated with open stripes that look like chrome reflections or speed lines. The solid cut is named Dynamo. Lichte Motor has been digitized more than once, most successfully by Steve Jackaman as Motorcross.
