This popular series of cookbooks started in the 1990s and is still available, at least on Amazon.

The cover designer used Les Usherwood’s Caxton typeface throughout the series … but distorted several title words to make them fit. Sad!

  1. Somehow this feels like the most real “early 1990s” thing on this website: the solid colour blocks and bold type use feel far more clearly an epitome of the early 1990s than more avant-garde work of the period. I’m glad to see this example showcased.
