The name of the Tel Aviv theatre on a flyer from the 1940s. It is constructed from decorative typographic elements, distributed under the name Dekora by the foundry Schriftguss AG vorm. Brüder Butter in Dresden. The print shows the by iconic building from 1945 by the architect Oskar Kaufmann.

  1. A wonderful find, and our first documented use for Dekora! Thanks, Philipp.

    Oskar Kaufmann also designed the Volksbühne in Berlin (1913–1914), among several other theater buildings.
