To combat harassment and verbal aggression, the HandsAway app launched #LePoidsDesMots.
Verbal aggression has become commonplace. And yet, the violence attached to it is anything but normal. On the occasion of the trial of the attacker of Marie Laguerre – victim of a street assault filmed in July 2018 – HandsAway launched #LePoidsDesMots.
Accompanied by the agency TBWA \ Paris, HandsAway has designed weights on which are engraved remarks and insults received by women. On the back of the weights, the inscription: “Never underestimate the weight of words. Let’s fight together against street harassment.” An effective way of illustrating the true weight of street harassment. — Ladn.eu
