From the January 2013 issue of Food & Wine, this layout features Crescendo, by Canada Type’s Nancy Harris Rouemy and Patrick Griffin. There’s a subtle golden gradient fill from top to bottom of the title, picked up again in the credit line — maybe not too easy to see in the scan, but classy!
Not sure whom to credit this to: the masthead lists Steven Scoble as Creative Director, Patricia Sanchez as Design Director, James Maikowski as Associate Art Director, and Kevin Sullivan as Designer. My guess is the Designer did it.
