Roman Script is an interesting concept, but forcing handwriting-like connections onto upright serif letters is a difficult proposition, and it works even more rarely in a typeface where there are thousands of possible letter combinations. So this font (originating as Letraset in 1979 and never given contextual OpenType magic) doesn’t always flow the way one would hope. For the Via.me logo, Laura Serra redrew the ‘vi’ pair and created a new ‘e’ that flowed from the ‘m’ in a single stroke.
