Fluter is a quarterly youth magazine published by the Bundeszentrale für politische Bildung, “a federal public authority providing citizenship education and information on political issues for all people in Germany.”
The logo with the modified Clarendon was introduced in March 2006 (issue #18) under the art direction of Thomas Kartsolis. When Neue Gestaltung took over in fall 2008 (issue #28), Bembo and Glypha were replaced with Sabon and Akzidenz-Grotesk as the two main typefaces. Since summer 2010 (issue #35), Jan Spading is the art director for Fluter. He relies on a mix of Akzidenz-Grotesk, Sabon Next and Courier LT. See more images on his website.
All Fluter issues can be downloaded for free from the pdf archive.
