A phototype version – very likely Berthold’s – of Titania (Haas, before 1906), used with very tight spacing for the jacket design of Der große Eisenbahnraub. Originally titled The Great Train Robbery, this German edition of Michael Crichton’s historical novel about the Great Gold Robbery from 1855 was translated by Hans-Joachim Maass and published by Rowohlt in 1977. The cover art is by Brian Knight.
