In summer 2021, the Jersey City Mural Festival featured works from more than 50 artists. The festival was anchored by the new mural of the multidisciplinary artist, educator, and activist Amanda Phingbodhipakkiya. Her stunning artwork titled Stand With Us was meant to be “a love letter to the Asian American and Pacific Islander community (AAPI) in Jersey”, which could be seen when entering NYC from the Holland Tunnel. For her mural, she decided to use Monopol by Nguyen Gobber.
