Toad Road, a small clothing boutique in Albuquerque, New Mexico, wanted a fresh and sexy campaign to catch some eyes. For the typeface, we wanted something thin and tall, as well as contemporary. Grotzec Headline was the typeface of choice. License: All Rights Reserved. License: All Rights Reserved. License: All Rights Reserved. License: All Rights Reserved. Simply scaling them down doesn’t work: They don’t match the lowercase in weight anymore. This is especially distracting in a calligraphic design such as Ondine. As for Grotsec Headline, I wish that I refined the leading and tracking a bit more. That’s of course looking at it with fresh eyes now. :) Post a comment Name Email – will not be published Website Your response Submit Comment More Grotzec in use Jetts2015Kieran StowersContributed by Feliciano Type Patacão Vinho Verde2016A.Cruz Design StudioAntónio CruzContributed by Feliciano Type The Future of Capitalism book series2017FBA (Ferrand Bicker & Associados)Ana BoavidaContributed by Feliciano Type Sponsor More in Fashion/Apparel “Design Like a Girl!” collectionc. 2020Martyna Wędzicka-ObuchowiczContributed by Laïc: Type Foundry Neo2 Magazine, Issue No. 1602018Yarza TwinsContributed by Sharp Type Staff Pick Paradise City hangtags and labels2014Winter-HébertContributed by Nathaniel Hebert Terminal 27c. 2021CTHDRLContributed by Adrien Menard More in Advertising Mayer & Grammelspacher ad for toy guns (1913)1913unknownContributed by Florian Hardwig Wratislavia Cantans 2021, “Crossing Borders”c. 2021Studio K95Contributed by Danilo De Marco “Holy Batmask!” ad by General Electric1966Photo(s) by Bart Solenthaler on Flickr.
