A contemporary blackletter typeface for a contemporary sign: This is Duc de Berry, a bastarda created by Gottfried Pott in 1990 as part of Linotype’s Type before Gutenberg series. Duc de Berry could serve as a display companion to the similar but sturdier Lucida Blackletter by Kris Holmes and Charles Bigelow (1992). Neither the ‘long s’ nor the ‘ch’ ligature that are included in the font have been used here.
