The Lokremise St. Gallen is a former railway roundhouse. In 2010, it was reopened as a cultural center and now hosts events from various fields including dance, theater, film and fine arts. The visual identity was created by Alltag.

For the signs, the designers didn’t want to simply put the name Lokremise (“locomotive depot”) on the Lokremise. Instead, the created the “Typo-Wand” (“Type Wall”): an at least weekly changing display that presents excerpts and teasers from the current program.
