From the Factum Design website:

“We were asked to design the package for Xalinat – a medicine used in Alzheimer treatment seen as an improvement at the level of the life activity and consists in the posibility to enjoy life almost like before the ill started.

Our aim was to create a distinct packaging in terms of visibility and memorability with high personality and less significance (interpretation), that gives to the viewer (patient or doctor) an optimistic feeling of better. The visual translates the meaning of life as ‘vibrations’ – a colourful stripe. Also, the stripe plays an optical role: it attracts attention upon it and enhances the package visibility on the shelf in order to be rapidly identified. The large white surface of the packaging highlights the kind of this medicine: reliable, honest, and based on its purpose. For the name of the medicine we chose the Meran typeface from Our Type.”
