Uczyć się od Las Vegas is the Polish edition of Learning From Las Vegas, one of the most important books in the history of architecture. The main goal was to create a design which would present all the data and visual imagery in a clear, presentable, yet attractive way along with creating some sort of visual reference to the book’s subject. As it centers on the vernacular, I decided to choose distinctive Emigre fonts. To emphasise their voice I paired them with something completely different for the body text: Arnhem by Fred Smeijers. The front of the cover was inspired by numerous photographs from the book showing a variety of billboards and large-format signs from Vegas in the 60s.
