The book cover of the Dell Publishing edition for Wolfling by Gordon R. Dickson mentions “a Hugo Award winner” which is true, but for a different book. The author won the Best Novel award in 1978, in the same year that Star Wars and Close Encounters of the Third Kind won their Hugo award for best Dramatic Presentation.
