Swiss posters for 1970s re-releases of the first five James Bond films starring Sean Connery. The posters display each film's title in both English and German, with one exception.

The green poster for Dr. No features the title and top billing set in Stack. The red poster for From Russia with Love features the title and top billing set in what looks to be an optically condensed and shaded style of Bookman Bold, possibly based on Letraset's version, using Swash alternates. The yellow poster for Goldfinger features the title set in Process. The orange poster for Thunderball features the title and top billing set in Chicago, in a open style for the English title and with an alternate N that might have been based on that seen in the similar Pointillé or Luminous. Interestingly, François Robert’s digital revision, known as Baudot, comes in a Pop Open style that achieves a similar effect as the titling on this poster. The additional German title, Feuerball, is set in Pin Ball. Finally, the blue poster for You Only Live Twice features the title and top billing set in Cooper Hilite which is reversed for the English title. Additional text on all posters is set in Helvetica.

Four of the posters were also printed in slightly alternate designs featuring French titles in the same typographic styles. It is unknown if a French version of the Goldfinger poster exists. It may be that a French version was unnecessary given that the English title was used for the 1965 release in France.

The fonts in use place these Swiss posters for the re-released films at 1973 or later, assuming they were all designed at the same time.

Cape Fear is a 1991 American psychological thriller film directed by Martin Scorsese. It is a remake of the 1962 film of the same title, which was based on the 1957 novel The Executioners by John D. MacDonald. The film stars Robert De Niro, Nick Nolte, Jessica Lange, Joe Don Baker, and Juliette Lewis. Robert Mitchum has a small role in the film, while Gregory Peck (in his final theatrical film role) and Martin Balsam make cameo appearances, all three having starred in the original film.

In 1962, Golden Records released a record album of six ghost stories for children titled Alfred Hitchcock Presents: Ghost Stories for Young People. The album, which opens with the Charles Gounod Alfred Hitchcock Presents theme music, is hosted by Hitchcock himself, who begins, "How do you do, boys and girls. I'm delighted to find that you believe in ghosts, too. After all, they believe in you, so it is only common courtesy to return the favor."

Hitchcock introduces each of the stories, all the while recounting a droll story of his own failed attempts to deal with a leaky faucet (which at the conclusion of the album leads to Hitchcock "drowning" in his flooded home). The ghost stories themselves, accompanied by minimal sound effects and music, are told by actor John Allen, four of which he wrote himself and two of which are adaptations:

1. "The Haunted and the Haunters (The Pirate's Curse)"
2. "The Magician ('Til Death Do Us Part)"
3. "Johnny Takes a Dare (The More the Merrier)"
4. Saki's "The Open Window" (special adaptation)

The album title combines Photo-Lettering’s Deckel Edge, a design by Davis Pennington which is a textured variant of Pennington’s Slanted Sable, and Kress Interlock, a design by George Kress. Additional text on the front cover appears to be set in Microgramma. The back cover features a lengthy note on ghosts from Alfred Hitchcock set in a rather soft Caslon Antique. The tracklisting pairs Akzidenz-Grotesk (a.k.a. Standard) with Trade Gothic.

Attack of the Killer Tomatoes is a 1978 American parody film produced by J. Stephen Peace and John DeBello, and directed by John DeBello based upon an original idea by Costa Dillon. The screenplay was written by Dillon, Peace, and DeBello. The film spoofs B movies and was made on a budget of less than US$ 100,000. The story involves tomatoes becoming sentient by unknown means and revolting against humanity.

The film’s title is set in or based upon Company (1978), with elements appearing hand-lettered and the O’s in “Tomatoes” drawn to resemble the titular Killer Tomatoes. The tagline and credit block are set in Gill Sans.

Loosely based on Nikolai Gogol’s short story “Viy”, the film takes place in Moldavia and tells the story of a witch who is put to death by her brother, only to return two centuries later to seek revenge upon his descendants.

These posters are from the film’s 1961 US release by American International Pictures. The film’s taglines are set in Safari. The credit block is set in News Gothic Extra Condensed with lesser portions in a condensed News Gothic. Additional type is set in Alternate Gothic and Franklin Gothic. The US Window Card also features what looks to be Venus Extended or similar. The film’s title appears to be hand-lettered and is rendered differently for certain poster formats. It's possible that Safari influenced the look of the hand-lettered title seen on the US One Sheet, as the interlocking ligatures (LA, AY) align with how the title is typeset in the tagline of the US Half Sheet.

In its plot, the malevolent artificial intelligence Skynet sends a T-X (Loken)—a highly advanced Terminator—back in time to ensure the rise of machines by killing top members of the future human resistance as John Connor's (Stahl) location is unknown. The resistance sends back a reprogrammed T-850 (Schwarzenegger) to protect John and his future wife, Kate (Danes).
