BORN IN 1988, ISTANBUL; Ali Emre Doğramacı began his design education in Istanbul Bilgi University Visual Communication Design Department, did a student exchange in Sint-Lucas Beeldende Kunst Grafisch Ontwerp Department in Ghent, Belgium and received his master’s degree after attending School of Visual Arts MFA Design / Designer As Author + Entrepreneur Program in New York City.

  Following his graduation, he started working as an intern in MTWTF, a New York-based graphic design studio; which he took part in design projects for cultural and commercial platforms such as Brooklyn Museum’s temporary signage project, Buell Center's House Housing Exhibition, Astor Place branding project, etc. After his return to Istanbul, he worked as a graphic designer in IKSV’s 14th Istanbul Biennial Salt Water, embedded with Milano based LeftLoft.
  Since 2015 he has been working as a one-man studio. Some of his prominent works are; identity & communication materials for Apricots from Damascus, an apexart exhibition hosted by SALT; publication design for Ahmet Doğu İpek’s exhibition A Halo of Blackness Upon Our Heads hosted by Arter; Publication design for Dirimart, a monograph in conjunction with the exhibition title Eternal Resonance by Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu.
