Mirá is an artisanal bakery that blends tradition and innovation, drawing on Japanese and Brazilian knowledge to reinvent breadmaking. Inspired by the scientific method and the ancestral art of bread, Mirá is a space where memory, research, and haute cuisine converge – turning the experience of bread into an act of culture and experimentation.

Encantado is the new album by Brazilian singer-songwriter Silva. We were invited to develop its identity and a homonymous publication that is the tactile soul of the album, bringing together details of his creative process.

Through conceptual and strategic processes, we developed a very careful rebranding process with Espaço Envolvimento, resulting in a visual expression that reflects the school’s new moment.

We selected Mabry by Colophon, a playful design that makes learning more fun! With its smooth curves and friendly strokes, it looks as if it came from a storybook, where everything is cozy and full of personality. Perfect for the children’s and educational universe, Mabry conveys a sense of warmth and comfort, as if it were handwritten by someone who cares. It makes words feel lighter and more fun, helping to create a joyful and friendly atmosphere for learning, sparking children's curiosity and readiness to explore the world of letters.

The result is an identity that celebrates diversity and the respect for childhood, as well as art's and nature's role as main supporters for building an environment that values each child’s protagonism.

Pacto Visual 5 is a publication focused on the relationship between global contemporary art circuit and local context of the visual arts. Four foreign artists were invited to nominate one Brazilian artist each: Carlos Garaicoa, Dominique Gonzalez-Foerster, Isaac Julien and Juan Araujo nominated Marcelo Cidade, Anísio O. Couto, Plataforma ÀRÀKÁ and Mauro Restiffe. Through interviews with these eight personalities, the book explores issues that permeate each artist's poetic universe and their ties to Brazil.

Impa tech is a Brazilian college dedicated exclusively to teaching applied mathematics. The project is led by IMPA (Institute of Pure and Applied Mathematics) in collaboration with the Federal Government through the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MCTI) and the Ministry of Education (MEC). The course has a partnership with Rio de Janeiro City Hall, responsible for Porto Maravalley, where impa tech will be based.

We started with the idea of creating a strong institutional symbol which would indicate that impa tech was born classic. So we decided to look for an outcome that pointed towards digital modernism. Based on these two premises, we were inspired by classic modernist architectural structures, as well as contemporary elements that could provide a technological counterpoint. The logo, beginning with a rotated letter i as a bold glyph alligned with the wordmark, reinforces the association with IMPA’s brand through a strong and dynamic visual aesthetic. Within the symbol, the square and circle give the brand simplicity and timelessness.

Inspired by the logo’s design (a square, a quarter circle, and a full circle) and by elements from the digital world – such as chats and buttons – a system of shapes adaptable to the content was developed. These resources create text hierarchies that highlight content in a clear and fun way.

We selected the typeface ABC Oracle, characterized by its contemporary and versatile look. It combines modern design principles with a touch of timeless elegance, adapting easily to different applications.

The choice of white, black and beige as predominant colors was motivated by the search for an institutional language that would grant sobriety for the brand. At the same time, we also chose neon shades of pink, orange, yellow and green as secondary colors, helping to establish a connection with the young public, who are the students or candidates for a position at impa tech.

Simplexidade is a consultancy in complexity management for organizations. To develop mind maps and evolutionary processes, it starts from the premise that the complex is not complicated. Complexity theory states that complex systems can arise from simple interactions between their components. This approach was applied in the creation of the visual identity, using graphics that are based on the idea of the potency of relationships when integrated, and that explore the organic/digital duality. TWK Lausanne was chosen due its modern, sophisticated, and versatile style. Through its straight lines, balanced proportions, and excellent legibility, it was ideal for this branding project.

Ateliês do Rio is a publication that invites the reader to enter the creative spaces of ten artists from different practices and generations, in Rio de Janeiro. Through the photographs by artist and photographer Vicente de Mello, and interviews by João Vergara, we are transported into the universe of Adriana Varejão, Anna Bella Geiger, Barrão, Beatriz Milhazes, Carlos Vergara, Denilson Baniwa, Marcela Cantuária, Maria Nepomuceno, Maxwell Alexandre, and Waltercio Caldas.

To think of Rio de Janeiro is to think of the ocean, sand, sky, forest; a nature that intertwines in the urban chaos. Representing this city that is contoured by rivers, seas and lagoons, we chose to work with the color blue, which is symbolically linked to water, an element that is fluidity, movement, calm and turmoil, characteristics that dialogue with the proposal of what is understood as a studio. Radio Grotesk brings contemporary characteristics and a sophisticated touch to the project.

The book takes us deep inside each studio, this unique and timeless place, crossed by the creation processes of each artist, that, while changing every second, remains a safe harbor, free to be explored in the most diverse ways, from a huge warehouse to a dream. To think of the studio is, therefore, to think of the process as a work of art.

Festival Agora stimulates an exchange of experiences, creating and strengthening connections, while it contributes to the critical reflection and analysis regarding gender inequality and the fight against sexism. Through visual culture, dialogues, workshops, poetry and music, the theme of the 200 years of Brazilian Independence was addressed, highlighting the pioneer heroines and the appearance of women in the public world.

To re-signify the idea of independence as a revolution, we sought the urban public space as a territory for artistic intervention. As a result, we created an identity with strong typography combining Agharti, Wallnutt Corps and Right Grotesk for a direct communication that visually translates the name “agora” into a sense of urgency. The powerful messages of the festival were conveyed through flags, raised as a symbol of resistance and popular call.

Festival Teal Brasil intends to rethink and reinvent the way we work. It is an environment where people can build networks, share their inspirations and practices, and propose more integral models to operate organizations. Focusing on "transition" as its central theme, the festival highlights that reinvention, adaptation and transformation are the way to the future of work.

We developed an identity with a contemporary and futuristic character, simultaneously, due to the need of projecting about the main subject of ‘work’ in a fresh way. Based on the current reality of a world in transition, we designed a logo – using Monoska and Power Grotesk – and several graphics that overlap in a mutable effect, representing possibilities of new models of work in a graphic and abstract way. Also, because of the need for an identity that would highlight the content, we used Neue Montreal for longer texts; and created a visual system of grids that offer easy adaptability for organization and application of texts and images.

Nau is “a school of practice without concrete walls”, dedicated to body and consciousness, utilizing the methodology from the Cultivating Emotional Balance (CEB) program. In its activities, such as workshops, retreats, classes and lectures, emotions are the object of investigations that generate inner transformations in order to positively impact the world.

Combining Voyage, Playfair Display and Hind, we developed an identity that starts from art images and organic forms to create its own universe without relying on common stereotypes about the subject of well-being.

Palco Giratório’s 2018 edition was conceived by the national Sesc team. This project aims to spread scenic arts to various regions in Brazil, especially the ones with less access to artistic expression.

The fonts in use are Dharma Gothic for headlines, combined with EB Garamond and Fabrikat Mono for paragraphs and subtitles, as well as VCR OSD Mono to create graphic images and forms.

Play is a festival that aims to see children and youth in a diverse, inclusive and participatory way. As a free access platform to the arts, through multiple languages ​​and artistic expressions, its desire is to broaden perceptions about education based in the city and its diversities.

Reflecting on the multiplicity of themes and various subjects that the festival wants to address, we started from concepts such as collaboration and diversity to create a connected and plural graphic visual. In addition to this graphic resource, the repetition of shapes suggests movement, printing the idea of ​​mobility, both social and in relation to the city itself.

Using the Bauziet typeface, characterized by its ink traps, our proposal was to create an identity that would connect and welcome the youth public.

An exhibition that reflects on the possibilities of living in Rio de Janeiro. The main yearly art exhibition from the Museo de Arte de Rio (MAR), Casa Carioca discusses different ways to live in Rio de Janeiro, such as: popular architecture, sociability, housing rights and women’s roles in the domestic space.

For the typograophy we used Vinila, designed by Flora de Carvalho, and available at Plau. Vinila aligns the expressive and rhythmic energy from Rio de Janeiro with the typography.

This project has the curatorship of Joice Berth and Marcelo Campos, and presents the work of artists such as Alan Fontes, Ana Hortides, Bruno Portella, Érica Magalhães, Concreto Rosa, Gilson Plano, Maria Fernanda Lucena, Mariana Paraizo, Mauricio Lima and Fábio Menino.

Maracanã Media is an audiovisual production company led by a team of sport specialized professionals, which produces authorial and documentary content about high performance athletes.

The starting point for this project was the desire to create an impactful look that highlighted simultaneously digital and sports aspects, with a Brazilian touch. We came up with a visual identity including a strong typography – pairing Editorial New with Neue Montreal – alongside the audiovisual work.
