The central dossier of this issue explores the observations and responses of sociologists, architects, researchers and citizens to the climate emergencies and social fractures that threaten our habitat. Land habitat, neighbourhood, public space, gendered or inclusive construction of cities: in all its components, thinking about our ways of inhabiting the world, together.

Neufeldt.Voigt Architekten is an architecture practice based in Munich, Germany. The studio works holistically in all service phases from the first idea to the finished house. The sensitive selection of high-quality, coordinated materials is just as important to them as clarity in the design and comprehensive planning with carefully worked-out details.

This new issue gives a voice to young people committed to the climate, to those who work within the administrative machine to transform it - like Nina Chini or Nathan Méténier - and to others who engage in sometimes radical citizen actions, like Léa Falco or Victor Auburtin.

Respect magazine N°2: ébats et débats (“Romp and debates”).

A major trend is endangering our sovereignty as citizens: an ever-increasing abstention rate, especially among young people. Democratic exhaustion, the omnipresence of a concentrated media system: how can we re-enchant the political terrain?

On his debut album, Childish Mind, guitarist and electronic musician Jonathan Bockelmann presents a series of light, serene acoustic guitar vignettes. The Munich-born musician has studied classical guitar for about two decades, perfecting his technique and gaining mastery of the instrument alongside work with his electronic duo GLASKIN. With GLASKIN, which features Jonathan and his brother Ferdi, he has explored his compositional vision, weaving genres like IDM, ambient, jungle, and techno together. Childish Mind sees him explore a new compositional path by crafting delicately interwoven melodies for the acoustic guitar. From the gentle webs and patterns Jonathan creates, there’s a sense of meditativeness throughout the album—his music radiates out, filling moments with a sense of ease and calmness.

OWN is an architecture and interior design practice. The studio works with private and public projects such as small buildings for various purposes, interiors of apartments, exhibition spaces, cafes, stores and offices. OWN will bring an architectural approach, cleanliness and lightness to any of these spaces.
