Tiffany earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts with an emphasis in Graphic Design from Brigham Young University before heading to New York City to work in magazine and publication design. While the industry was exciting, the call to teach was stronger, leading her back to Utah, where she became an adjunct professor in Graphic Design at BYU. A few years later, she couldn’t resist the pull of graduate school and moved to England to earn her Master of Arts in Theory and History of Typography and Graphic Communication from the University of Reading.

Her writing has been published in STEP Inside Design, Interrobang (a SOTA publication), Indie Fonts III, and TypeCulture. She has served on the board of the Society of Typographic Aficionados, volunteered for the Association Typographique Internationale, and was a judge for Communication Arts’ 2nd Typography Annual.

She currently enjoys the WFH life in San Jose, California. And if you’re wondering—no, she doesn’t always refer to herself in the third person.
