Erik Desombere (°1959) teaches Graphic Design and typography at St Lucas School of Arts, Antwerp and has a big passion for cycling. Since 1990 he runs his own graphic design studio. He is also responsible for the graphic identity of St Lucas. Erik Desombere has over many years developed a passion for beautiful typography and posters. The letter is always prominent, both in his work as a teacher of typography and design and in its own graphic and typographic work. He translates his search for and love of historic characters into new typefaces and in advanced research on experimental letterforms.
