Cooperapoly is a Development Education project within the Solidarity Schools program, devised by the Onay Organization. The objective is to make educational material to work on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) in the classrooms of Navarra. The goal of the game is to raise awareness and educate young people to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) of the 2030 Agenda. Although inspired by the famous Monopoly, Cooperapoly would be its antithesis.

All typography is set in the two subfamilies of Roba: the high contrast Roba High and its moderate contrast sibling Roba Low.

Munduko Arrozak (“Rice from the world”) is an intercultural and self-managed popular festival that is held in different places of the Basque Country. We designed the graphics for the 19th edition. With the desire to fill the streets with color, and with bold and understandable graphics for people from different parts of the world, we designed a poster with the name of the event in different languages and a handful of multicolored grains of rice:

We applied the graphics to different supports such as badges, bonds, animations for social networks, stickers, tiles, etc.

The main font in use is Manrope, a modern open-source sans-serif designed by Michael Sharanda in 2018. The fonts used for the words in Japanese, Tifinagh, and Arabic are Kozuka Gothic Pr6N R, Noto Sans Tifinagh, and Adobe Arabic.

Ribera en Danza is a body movement arts cycle held in different locations along the Ebro River. The riverbed and culture are the common thread of this dance festival, which aims to make dance visible in open spaces and bring contemporary languages to all audiences.

The river and its curves, the water and its movement have a clear union with the
dance and its movements. That is why we have selected Parabole Display (by ECAL Typefaces) for the logo that reminds us of these shapes and that has a special dynamism.

We picked Neue Montreal (by Pangram Pangram) as a secondary font because of its simplicity to counter the visual load.

The poster system was based on an original painting made exclusively for the cycle that we commissioned from the emerging artist Irene Carmona Navarro. This painting had to reflect the connection between water and dance in a poetic way.

The multidisciplinary Tribu Festival is celebrated in different spaces of the city of Burgos, Spain, during the last days of summer.

Due to the pandemic, this edition was held with limited capacity and unlike in other years the activities were reduced.

The visual identity for this special edition is based on digital 3D art that represents the essence of the city’s culture and gastronomy.

Retor (by Laïc Type Foundry) was used as the main typeface all across the visual identity.

In December 2021 we had the pleasure of collaborating for a very special project with film studio Alto alongside D612 coffee roasters, making the visual system for the labels of a roasted coffee exclusively for clients and relatives of Alto.

The visual concept is a path that ends at the top and through which all kinds of colors merge, symbolizing the union with the clients and collaborators of the studio. The typeface is Basetica (by 205TF).

Molecular House, based in Canada and Spain, is dedicated to design and illustration in the fields of science and pharmacy. We were commissioned to design their visual identity and website.

In the new look, their illustrations are re-used as textures and graphic elements to play with and add color to the brand. We also created a set of shapes that refer to bacteria and cells. The logo is based on Apfel Grotezk.

Kumanà is a Venezuelan cuisine restaurant that was founded in Barcelona. Following the concept of “The Arepa Jungle” we created a visual identity based on patterns and illustrations inspired by the nature of Venezuela. Integrating those elements, we designed a colorful, playful, and wild graphic system. This way a whole graphic universe to identify the brand with came to life.

The visual identity was based on the wavy shapes of Macabre (by Dave Coleman, available from Future Fonts) which remain us of jungle vegetation and wild ambience. As secondary type we used IBM Plex Mono (by Bold Monday) to find the balance between playfulness and serenity.

LP, CD & 7″ design for Tacumah’s brand new album titled Fear Culture Showcase.

Fear Culture Showcase expresses the oppression to which part of society is subjected making use of the culture of fear by closing people´s eyes and operating as they please. To capture this idea in a symbolic way, we propose a transition of the blink of an eye claiming a simple message: It's time to open your eyes.

Nero Alto (by typeverything) was the chosen font due to its high elegance and strong personality, which allow us to create different kind of content with a single type without getting overload. Designed by Mateo Broillet, Nero Alto was inspired by the calligraphic move of the Pompeian graffiti and the Trajan Column letterforms. The design of this typeface is structured around a sharp and geometric construction while being at the same time vernacular and slightly odd.

Digerolamo is a Florence-based brand of leather accessories. Its name carries three generations of leather craftsmanship, and today it remains true to its artisan roots by proposing and creating unique handmade pieces. We were commissioned to redesign the brand, the packaging and new website.

The rebranding represented a change of stage for the brand, since it stopped selling physically and launched into online commerce. For communication pieces, the logo and ultimately all its identity, we use a two font pairing, a narrow sans-serif (Greed by Displaay Type Foundry) and a serif (Sometimes Times by Boulevard LAB) inspired by individualistic old-style serif and mid ’90s culture. This pairing expresses the modernity, the tradition and the elegance of the brand, all of them essential values of Digerolamo.

We also explored with playful graphic resources based on the silhouettes of the bags.

Belvedere has its own interpretation of professional, creative and alternative work ethics. Breaking from traditional norms and stereotypes that rule the industry. Leading a disruptive path in the advertising and marketing world.

We were asked to create their new brand universe, based on their values. The commission included their website, social media design, campaign designs and corporate material.

The typographic choices are a mixture between a sans-serif and a old-fashioned modern font, used for headlines and text sentences. Aventa by Ellen Luff Type Foundry is paired with Grand Slang by Nikolas Type.

This calendar for 2021 was Risograph printed and includes an augmented reality feature. For the title, we worked with Disclaimer Plain (Fontfabric) for the year number. For the small numbers, named of months, and instructions, we decided to pick the opposite kind of type: Messapia Bold (Collletttivo) a wide and contemporary font.

The limited edition of 80 copies has sold out.

Mugacu Fest is a music, gastronomy and culture festival that takes place annually in the San Pedro ruins, Viana (Spain). #SuenaMugacu was the alternative to Mugacu fest due to the impossibility of celebrating it due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The typographic choice consists of two fonts that complement each other optimally. Darker Grotesque is a contemporary grotesque designed by Gabriel Lam and Vietanh Nguyen, inspired by the post-modern and brutalism typographic trends, while Morganite is a retro-looking condensed sans serif font family, designed by Rajesh Rajput.

We designed and Risograph printed a limited edition of thirty 2020 calendars, combining lettering with text set in Cindie Mono.

Kubika is an architecture studio based in the Basque Country led by young architects. They apply their way of seeing architecture as a functional and minimalist expression, becoming a vital companion to improve the spaces they work in.

The identity tries to locate these three-dimensional spaces by means of a predominant diagonal line. This visual load represents vertical construction and the human desire to reach the sky. It is a dynamic graphic system adapted to offline.

The entire project was resolved with Ahamono font, a free rounded monospaced typeface designed by Alfredo Marco Pradil available only in regular style. The characters of this typeface show unique features and great fathomability.

Pedazos de memoria (“Pieces of memory”) is a project about the life's work of Mª. Luisa de Miguel, who founded the Aransbur Association in 1977. Her fight started when one of her children was born with deafness. Since then she has not stopped getting deaf children in Spain to enjoy many rights which they didn’t have yet a few years ago.

The project consists of two pieces: a book and a video documentary. The concept revolves around the word pedazos (“pieces”). A piece of the cover was torn from each book, revealing a second cover and making each copy a unique piece.

In the book, Maria Luisa de Miguel’s life, struggle and conquests are narrated in first and third person. When Sergio, her son, was born in 1960, Maria Luisa immediately detected his deafness. At seven months, she noticed something that made her alarm go off. Trying not to fall asleep before eating, she blew a sound toy and observed that he did not react. Sergio was very expressive with his eyes and the rest of the family had not observed anything suspicious.

Everything starts here. Since the creation of Aransbur Association, through continuous trips and meetings with ministers to fight for rights such as adoption by deaf people. All the conquests that Mrs. de Miguel got for Sergio are now rights for all the deaf in Spain. The documentary is a video interview, in which he tells his bittersweet story firsthand. Today, she continues to improve certain injustices that deaf people still experience.
