In July 2016, Slovakia took over the presidency in the Council of the European Union. Typotheque was commissioned to design a special commemorative post stamp for the occasion of the rotating of the presidency of the member states. The post stamps depicts Slovakia’s forests which cover more than 40% of the country, and are scented with aroma of a pine tree. The posts stamps, first day cover and the rubber stamp are using Greta Mono from Typotheque, using it for the main text but also in the author’s signature used in 2.5pt text size. The first print run is 540,000 pieces.
