Omnes by Darden Studio is the logo typeface of Jio.

Launched in 2016, Jio is an Indian telecommunications company offering the “world’s largest mobile data network”. While brand company venturethree helped finding the name – Jio is Hindi for “live life” – Studio Schnauze was tasked to develop the corporate identity.

At the core of it is the logo. “Jio” is shown in the Bold weight of Omnes’s standard width. The name is placed in a circle, “the mother of all shapes – deeply rooted in the Indian culture”, according to Studio Schnauze. It comes in eight different colors, “to reflect the vibrancy and colourfulness of India”. The tagline “Digital Life” is added in all-caps Neue Helvetica.

Probably the largest application of Omnes: the Jio logo at Reliance Corporate Park can be seen on Google Maps.

Fujitsu Ltd. is a Japanese technology company that specializes in consumer and industrial electronics. Fujitsu's products include servers, PCs, laptops, media centers, tablets, storage hardware, displays, air conditioning and heat pump units.

F37 were commissioned by Interbrand to work on a new custom typeface for Fujitsu, as the brand decided to sharpen their brand image. F37 came up with Fujitsu Infinity. We used F37 Ginger as a starting point, developing 6 different weights to compliment the new brand image. This typeface family was designed with warmth and openness at its core, as is well-placed for greater legibility and accessibility across all print and digital communications.

Fujitsu Infinity needed to work across print and web and in all sizes. This meant that F37 Ginger, a geometric typeface typically used for mid to large point sizes, would need to undergo a number of changes. To optimise the versatility of F37 Ginger we increased the x-height, spacing and size of punctuation, while reducing the capital height and opening apertures. Further modifications or changes were made to a number of characters with similar letter shapes.

AT&T’s globe logo is complemented by the marketing proposition “Mobilizing Your World”, rendered in right-aligned caps from Omnes.

AT&T Inc. is the second largest provider of mobile telephone services and the largest provider of fixed telephone services in the United States, and also provides broadband subscription television services through DirecTV. It is the largest telecommunications company in the world by revenue [Wikipedia] and was ranked at #4 of the Most Valuable Global Brands 2016.

The typographic cornerstone of the brand is Omnes by Darden Studio. In his review of AT&T’s latest brand update in 2016, design critic Armin Vit comments:

Omnes […] is one of my favorite typefaces and it works nicely as a playful corporate typeface in its lighter weights.

AT&T uses a custom version spanning several weights mostly from the lighter end of the family’s range, plus italics. The friendly sans serif with selective rounding is employed across all media, from the various websites to corporate brochures, reports, infographics, videos, and more.

For many years, AT&T’s slogan was “Rethink Possible”, set in Omnes Italic. This theme was introduced in 2010 and phased out sometime between 2014 and 2016.

For this graphic from AT&T Aspire, the company’s educational section, numerals from Omnes Bold Italic were rendered with a texture to emulate the aesthetics of a chalkboard.

Headlines often are in italics. The cursive shapes augment the approachable character of Omnes.

With its eye-catching ‘1’, Omnes is great for drawing attention to important numerical data.
