I made this cover for Istotne Nagr., a Polish DIY label releasing funny electronic music.

Après Skweee is a compilation of a micro-genre called skweee, a slow tempo electronic music made of funky rhythms and chiptune sounds that emerged in the late 2000s in Sweden and Finland. This release is the proof that the genre is still active today in 2025.

I mixed here two display fonts that match the texture and shape of the illustrations. LL Biff is used for titling and Zigzag for the secondary information.

Poster and schedule for a two-day experimental music festival in Lyon, organized by Le Périscope. The name Tournée Générale means “Drinks All Round” in French, referring to the particularity of the event: the 12 concerts take place in 12 different bars, with a schedule where the audience moves each hour from one place to another.

Here is a poster I did for a Christmas market gathering local designers that took place in a little coffee shop in Nantes in November 2024. I used Pinewood, a freebie digital interpretation of Rustic No. 2, both for the title and as an illustrative element, adding snow on top to make it fit to the rest of the composition. I paired it with Exposure, chosen for the warm feeling of its blurry outlines.

Series of posters for Hotline, a succession of three events organized by Arte Faact and Combo Bongos at a local club in Nantes called Macadam. The identity had to be inspired by the retro flyers of sex chat line advertising, using a real phone number to give the practical informations for the event.

I used a mix of script fonts from different eras, as it was a good way to tell the story of a phone number quickly written on the napkin of a bar or a restaurant. The generously curved lines of West Cooper Nouveau Swash also provide a feeling of seduction and give coherence to the identity.

Visual identity and website for Jardin C, an outdoor place in Nantes dedicated to experimental culture. As the garden is an outside venue, every event organized there is very sensitive to the weather. The website has indicators for the current time, temperature and humidity.

For the 2023 poster series, Elastik is the sole typeface used. It focuses on the concept of growth, utilizing the dots of the letter i as illustrative elements.

Visual identity for Carrément, a cycle of artist residence at a poetry house in Rennes, France. The identity is based on the use of image words, in the style of Magritte, to illustrate the process of each artist during the residence. The leaflet is printed in risography at Club Couleur in Rennes.

The typewriter face is Olympe, designed by Émilie Rigaud and released through her A is for foundry. The sans is Antoine Elsensohn’s EB Trainer Grotesk.

Two digitally degenerated fonts combined for a concert announcement at Lune Froide in Nantes: one from 2020, GlyphWorld Forest by Leah Maldonado, and a simpler Letraset font from 2000, Bouchon by French couple Michel and Roselyne Besnard.

Poster for an experimental music concert with percussions in Nantes. The typography pairs Alte Haas Grotesk and Heretica, two freebie interpretations of Helvetica.

The poster of the exhibition Le Jardin Soupiré is made with Victor Moscoso as the titling typeface and ITC Souvenir for smaller text.

The former is based on the 1960s psychedelic poster lettering by Victor Moscoso, which in turn is inspired by Smoke. Both fonts evoke Art Nouveau, or more specially their 70s revivals, which were made due to an interest in Art Nouveau in this decade.

Art Nouveau was deeply linked to grass, blossoms and various gracile shapes and this has a lot to do with the title Jardin Soupiré which means “Garden’s sigh”.

Askip is an associative art gallery, a laundromat, and a cafe located in the building of the Beaux-Arts Nantes. I had the chance to develop a visual identity around the idea of a local laundromat. The identity is based on Van Dijk, a recognizable script typeface and easy to use for the other people who could work on the project after me. Van Dijk would easily relate to handwriting on a blackboard in a bar. As a spoof of the Skip logo, I chose Roboto Condensed. The rest of the texts are in regular-wide Roboto.

TGL and Reglo in use on the poster for Too Cool for School: a fundraiser for young migrants, held at the Trempolino in Nantes, France. TGL 0-16 and 0-17 are digizations of DIN 16 and 17, made by Peter Wiegel, using the GDR names.

The purpose of this evening is to find funds to help unaccompanied migrant children to access schooling. The entrance is free of charge support, the risograph printed poster (by Arnaud Aubry) is for sale, 3 € minimum price, also to raise funds.
A solidarity canteen will be present, all of whose profits will go to L’Autre Cantine. The expression “à votre bon cœur” takes on all its meaning here and at the same time you will undoubtedly spend a wonderful evening on the terrace of Trempolino! A very cool evening, for school! Thank you to the association SAFE which co-organizes this event.

Cooper Nouveau Swash in use for an art exhibition in Seoul called Personal Theme Park. The four young Korean artists PCS, Dans ta chambre, Hurjaboy, and Chaerin Park invite you to experience their sculptures from their private fantasy world.

I wanted to make a flyer which could look like a map for a theme park, as if each artist name was an attraction of an amusement park. The fantasy of Cooper Nouveau looks like it tells a story when you read it and was perfect to use in this case. I also used Hobo because it I could easily deform it to fit in the illustration.

Use of Avara italic, a libre font published by VTF and initiated by Raphaël Bastide. Avara is a curveless font that was perfect to use for this event, a concert evening dedicated to a pirate radio from Nantes. The curveless style of the font fitted to the test patterns that I used for filling the poster.

First use of my first font Louisette for the concert of Harry Merry and Attic Ted, two musicians playing a weird carnival music. I decided to use Louisette, an inverted rounded revival I made this last year inspired by monstruous italians. To support it, I used Zig Zag who could easily fit to my illustration style and add a funny aspect to the poster.

Knorke, a font by Peter Wiegel, is used on the poster for a concert by The Intelligence, Levitation Room, La Sessualita and Bande à Part on 21st of June in Nantes at Le Chien Stupide.

Quick Brush and Reglo in use on a concert poster for La Fine Équipe, Nkisi and Kampire at Le Pôle Étudiant, a student culture house in Nantes.

I did this poster for an experimental music concert in Nantes that took place in Blockhaus DY10, a former bunker from World War II.

As the music of Black Zone Myth Chant is dark and ambient, I wanted to tell an occult tale with the image produced for this concert. I started to search through Art Nouveau fonts, to finally discover Eckmannpsych, an odd remix of Eckmann that would fit perfectly to my story. I also used Autopia, an experimental typeface that received its quirky calligraphic shapes by combining autotrace with python code. The black sun on the top is directly inspired from Eckmannpsych shapes, not the other way around.

L’École de Design Nantes Atlantique (Design School Nantes) asked me to make the poster for their open day 2019. I had a total freedom in this project to use any font I wanted even if Montserrat is the only typeface used in the identity of the school.

As I spent five years in this school, I knew the best thing to do was to fit to the identity, and keep Montserrat as an important part of the poster design. My goal was to keep as close as possible to their usual medias, but also to give a structure to the composition, as it was composed with many elements. In this case, Montserrat perfectly reflects the functional design taught at L’École de Design.

Poster for a concert with Colin Stetson, using BB Book by Benoît Bodhuin. As it is experimental music, I wanted to choose a typeface with an experimental approach, and finally settled on BB-book.

Identity for Les Nuits de Saint-Sauveur, a small French music festival for family and music lovers. I developed an identity which is understandable for a large public, that evokes the feeling of a sunny countryside landscape. The poster is inspired by a monument of the city, an old tower called ‘La Tour Sarrasine’. I made a symbol of it to settle the festival in the local culture.

I picked Belgika 8th to fit the illustration style, assisted by Aperçu for body copy.
