<p><em>Women of Wonder</em> (4867) is a science fiction compilation of one poem and twelve short stories “by women about women”, edited by Pamela Sargent and first published in 1974. <a href="http://www.penguinsciencefiction.org/20.html#2620">Penguin Science Fiction</a> has a list of the contents. This is Penguin’s paperback edition from July 1978, featuring a cover illustration by <a href="http://candyamsden.weebly.com/commissioned-illustrations.html">Candy Amsden</a>.</p>

<p>The title typeface is <strong><a target="_self" class="entity-link" href="https://fontsinuse.com/typefaces/48064/eclair" data-entity-code-id="48064" data-entity-code-type="TypeEntity">Éclair</a></strong>. The bold roman with the distinctive horizontal hatching was designed by <a target="_self" class="entity-link" href="https://fontsinuse.com/type_designers/3303/maximilien-vox" data-entity-code-id="3303" data-entity-code-type="TypeDesigner">Maximilien Vox</a> (best known for devising the <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VOX-ATypI_classification">VOX-ATypI classification</a>) and first cast by Deberny &amp; Peignot in 1935. The type might have been specified by David Pelham who was still Penguin’s art director at that time.</p>
