For the 1993 San Francisco International Airport annual report, Jennifer Morla was tasked with creating an annual report that emphasized numbers to highlight the positive economic impact the airport had on Bay Area services and employment.

The die-cut cover modifies OCR-B by Adrian Frutiger to create a stencil effect. The interior spreads feature clever infographics that communicate the airport’s fiscal contributions.

In July 2018, Jennifer Morla donated her archive to Letterform Archive. A monograph of her work, Morla : Design, is Letterform Archive’s second publication.

The 1998 cover story of The New York Times Magazine, “The Shock of the Familiar” examined the design explosion that was well under way, affecting the familiar, everyday objects from toothbrushes to Web pages. A cover design contest was launched for the issue, and Jennifer Morla’s winning design was strikingly simple yet echoed the theme by turning The New York Times’ own familiar masthead on its head.

Jennifer Morla's packaging design for Michelin-starred chef Thomas Keller’s chocolate line, K+M Chocolates, is dressed in Gotham. The bold weight is well-suited to dress three bold flavors: milk, dark milk, and dark chocolate. Morla's design also won the 2018 Graphis platinum award.
