John N. Schaedler, Inc. was a phototype and reproduction studio in New York City, active in the 1960s–70s. Founded by John N. Schaedler, the staff included Bob Quinzel, Ray Cruz, and Hiroshi Yamashita. Their newsletter was full of silly jokes and irreverent remarks about customers and competition, but also reported typographic news of the day and announced some original typeface releases. Evolved into Pinwheel, a color proofing and screen printing service. See also Schaedler Quinzel Inc. (reg. 1994) dba Schaedler Precision.
