We loved spotting our Greycliff CF in the pages – and pixels – of Allerhande, the free magazine of Albert Heijn, of the major supermarkets in the Netherlands. Since November 2017 it has been used for the magazine and related socials and products, alongside Quadraat by Fred Smeijers and an ever-changing selection of guest typefaces.

Greycliff CF brings friendly strength and rock-solid clarity to every page and post. Built on the legacy of classic sans serifs, it takes inspiration from mid-century design’s clean, honest geometry, updated with soft corners and humanist touches that make it warm and welcoming. With a wide range of weights, matching italics, and excellent language support, it’s a workhorse with personality – ideal for branding, editorial, packaging, and more. Typography in watch design is not merely about choosing a font — it’s about creating a cohesive and emotionally resonant visual language that aligns with the watch’s functional and aesthetic goals. Something Marloe Watch Company, the British mechanical watch design company, knows deeply well when choosing Venti CF for several of its timepieces as well as for the overall branding.

Venti CF, designed by Connary Fagen, is a modern geometric typeface featuring a lowercase style, giving it a classic and warm feel. The blend of modern and classic elements makes it perfect for the vintage vibe of Marloe’s products. The detail of the W glyph, with its distinctive crossed strokes, adds a unique and memorable touch to the brand.

Dinamit by Revolver Type plays an important role in the rebranding of Eurocept Homecare by Doordacht.

Eurocept Homecare is a home care organization that plays a leading role in moving specialist care to the patient’s familiar environment. Because they have the entire chain of medicine preparation, medical technology and home care in their own hands, Eurocept is of enormous added value to both the patient and the doctor. Eurocept's multidisciplinary approach is the blueprint for how they can continue to meet the increasing demand for care in an aging society.

On the website and also elsewhere in the identity, Dinamit is paired with Quincy CF.

Eurocept has all kinds of divisions: from medical technology and drug preparation to nursing and clinic care. All these divisions work together via one healthcare information platform, a platform where the doctor can request care and the patient has immediate insight into his or her treatment.

Doordacht has brought all these different names together under one brand: Eurocept Homecare. They are not separate operating companies, but collaborating disciplines. These disciplines together make the brand promise come true as we have defined it: further in care nearby.

Hoot Productions is a boutique production, production management and post production company. Agency Cause Farm asked graphic designer George P. Wilson to design the logo. He has provided identity design services and illustration, two skills that were brilliantly combined here.

Wilson used two typefaces: Moulin for “HOOT”, and Articulat CF as companion.

Undertow is the debut album by Melbourne jazz fusion band Firetail, self-released in April 2024. The cover features artwork by Jamie McElhinney, with design and layout by Hoffman Design.

The band name on the front cover is set in Motter Ombra and supporting text in Futura Now.

Safari Riot is an agency helping aspiring digital artists start making money with their projects. Safari Riot with their business partners solve marketing and business planning tasks and produce collaborations. One can become one of the agency’s clients by sending their work at the project’s email.

The agency’s homepage uses variable Fit by David Jonathan Ross and all the other pages are typeset in Compagnie by Pyte Foundry (used for headlines) and Cartograph CF by Connary Fagen (body text).

When Albert Heijn's recipe magazine Allerhande needed a website overhaul, designer Ernst Dommisse gave the design an overhaul as well, opting for a consistent use of Connary Fagen's Greycliff CF.

On his website, he writes:

Albert Heijn’s iconic Allerhande website needed to be migrated to React. There was no room for a complete UX rethink of the website but it was the perfect excuse for a visual overhaul. And we managed to sneak in some UX improvements along the way after all.

This project had been started and terminated a number of times in the past. Several designers had come and gone. This one was going to finish the job. Starting from what was there, refining, combining and completing the style to come up with a newly defined online brand presence.

In the end, it’s all about the recipes. We created an attractive and clutter-free view to inspire, convince and assist during the cooking process.

In 2022, the Patrick and Lina Drahi Foundation came to us for the creation of a one-of-a-kind educational program.

Space Ed is dedicated to the understanding of our universe as a whole: physics, astronomy, art, society, sustainability on earth… The program is aimed at children, students, and even adults.

This book by Angelika Maria Schnell is about traditional dishes from a village in the mountains of South Tyrol: Altrei. There are old recipes, rituals and cremes – provided with dialectal sayings.

In the design we have placed great emphasis on the font choices. We used Wayfinder CF by Connary Fagen for the titles and Maiola by TypeTogether for the basic text and ingredients. With Wayfinder, we found it especially exciting to use all the great ligatures and beautiful glyphs.

Vanguard CF in use in wordmark and key art for The Peripheral

Vanguard CF is used in main typeface for The Peripheral, an Amazon Prime Video adaptation of the William Gibson novel, produced by Scott Smith and starring Chloe Grace Moretz. From Wikipedia:

Manifold Extended CF for the Lumon Industries logo in concrete

Manifold Extended CF is recurringly used in the TV series Severance. Created by Dan Erickson and directed by Ben Stiller and Aoife McArdle, it premiered on Apple TV+ on February 18, 2022. From Wikipedia:

A sinister technology corporation, Lumon Industries, uses a “severance” medical procedure to separate the non-work memories of some of their employees from their work memories. One severed employee, Mark, gradually uncovers a web of conspiracy from both sides of the division.

Manifold Extended CF is used as the Lumon corporate logo, for signs and wayfinding. It has miscellaneous appearances in the show, social media, and website. It’s often paired with Forma DJR as part of Lumon Industries’ corporate design.

TITLE mag is a print publication that creates a community for young creatives to learn new skills, grow through mentorship, and build a strong network in a hybrid digital environment.
This issue involved the work of 111 individuals.

The theme for issue 006 is “Golden Age”. It was released March 26, 2022 out of Cincinnati, Ohio. Representing our interpretations of elegance, nostalgia, romance, and opulence, these pages are filled with expression from young creatives across the country. Our Editor in Chief said it best:

It feels like being draped in expensive silk and wrapped in glistening pearls. It feels like putting on your fanciest clothes and jewelry for a night out with your closest friends. It feels like the warm glowing light that comes bursting through your window on a summer evening. It feels like looking at old photos that transport you back to a completely different time of life. It feels like writing a love letter to someone you know will write one back to you. It feels like the hug that you never want to end. It feels golden.

This issue featured Sloop Script and Argent Pixel CF as the primary fonts for branded content and spreads. The other fonts highlighted in this post are part of the TITLE mag evergreen branding.

The final print issue is 177 pages, with 27 unique team projects. Issue 006 also includes a Digital Extended Edition, with seven additional digital-only projects and extensions of multiple print editorials.

Intentos por dejarse caer dentro (“Attempts to fall inside”) is a Colombian experimental short film, directed by Jonas Radžiūnas. It reflects on reality and psychologically plays with perception.

For the graphics, we made a comparison between the Rorschach test and the way the subconscious interprets the short film.

The image references the inkblot slides of the Rorschach tests, making the interpretation of the poster subjective and plays a psychological role just like the interpretation of the film. We use a 3D technique to express the experimental and avant-garde character of the film.

The film’s title stems from the idea of ​​exploring the subconscious as a spiral fall. To communicate this in the header, the typography was intervened by prolonging the serifs in a spiral shape.

To support the idea of ​​the Rorschach test, we created a graphic system that works in reflection and symmetry, making reference to how the spots are built and seeking that all the elements in the graph can be reinterpreted.

The context of the short film is marked by the social controversy brought about by the results of the 2018 presidential elections in Colombia and the feeling of uncertainty that began to generate a collective disagreement. This film seeks to question the subjective way in which we perceive life in order to incite a sociocultural change, understanding that we must let ourselves fall inside to change our context.

Theo Chocolate is a chocolate company founded in 2005 in Seattle, Washington, USA, with an emphasis on organic ingredients and fair-trade practices.

The brand’s product range and the range of typefaces used on them is diverse, but the main typefaces are Recoleta by Jorge Cisterna (Latinotype) and Visby CF by Connary Fagen. The two are used in tandem on packaging, social media, and website.

Vintageria.it is an online vintage fashion store based in Venice, Italy.

Their website is a single-page application with a Vue.js-based frontend and features Aromatron for large headings, VCR OSD Mono for smaller headings and additional typography, Greycliff CF for UI and the Light style of Roboto for body copy.

The brand's themes of sustainability and fight against gender and ethnic discrimination is weaved through the whole project. The brand's communication (both in the website and in Vintageria's social media channels) has an ironic tone, meant for a young public who is enthralled by the '80s and '90s iconography.
