Franklin Typographers* was a typesetting company active in New York City from around 1941 to at least into the 1990s. It was the advertising-typography branch of Lino-Typography, Inc. in 1947. Offered hand and machine composition in 1960. Known as Franklin Photolettering in the 1970s.
*) There was also a company with this name active in Chicago in 1942 and in 1958 (president: Frank J. Reekie). It’s unclear if it’s related.
Not to be confused with the Franklin foundry (1856–1892).
