Website redesign for award-winning agency Neon Team. Minimalistic, aesthetic and intuitive design with plenty of white space and visual hierarchy that draws attention to the headings.

We utilized the rarery used Exo for its distinctive style, complemented by the modern simplicity of Manrope.

Naturezas is a company that has been producing vegan foods for more than two decades. Our studio had the opportunity to carry out this project in an ideal context. It began with creative exploration and diagnosis of the brand, which allowed us to carry out a deeper analysis. We worked closely with the client to understand the real needs of the brand. The data obtained showed the strengths, weaknesses and opportunities of the brand. An obvious weakness was the obsolescence of its brand, which did not reflect the quality of its products. This led to a redesign of both the brand and the packaging of the products, which were already present on the market. The challenge was to ensure that, despite the new image, certain references were maintained so that the public could identify with the product with which they were already familiar. However, we conceived this redesign with the intention that the entire line would stand out from the competition, both due to its new image, color palette, as well as the size and shape of the new containers.

Monstres sacrés – Voyage au cœur des volcans is a children’s book documentary about volcanoes written by Julie Roberge and illustrated by Aless MC. Between science, history and mythology, this book presents the most famous volcanoes around the world.

Published by La Pastèque, the book won the BolognaRagazzi Award for non-fiction books 2022.

Not a Game is a Netflix documentary about the social impact of gaming, written and directed by Jose Gomez. Throughout the film, Scope is used for descriptive overlays and credits. The film title is set in Exo Soft.

Lichtherz (“Heart of light”) is the first volume of Die Energiewandler-Chroniken (“The energy converters chronicles”) – a brand new science fiction trilogy written and published by Evelyne Aschwanden. The title of the series is set in King Slayer with an alternate Z; the H was modified by graphic designer Jacqueline Kropmanns. [Edit: It’s actually Cinzel Decorative, see the comment by Akira.] All other cover typography uses Futura.

Dapifer is the display typeface used for the website of Dona Rita’s Yuka Bakes. The idiosyncratic oldstyle roman with slab serif overtones serves in its boldest weight to advertise Rita’s Brazilian cheese bread, or Pão de Queijo. Dapifer Black was chosen to communicate the traditional snack’s key features on the homepage. It’s also used for testimonials as well as for headlines, dates and tags in the blog section. The typeface by Darden Studio is paired with Latinotype’s Sanchez for text.

The Yuka Bakes logo pairs Cubano (Lost Type) and Worker (Ndiscover).

For their recent “We need Switzerland.” campaign, seen in web videos and subway billboards, Switzerland Tourism went with a Portuguese product: Nazare from Lisbon foundry &DISCOVER. Perhaps their criteria was purely aesthetic: an expressive, idiosyncratic typeface to contrast with their standby Neue Helvetica which is used throughout the rest of their identity. To quote branding firm Jannic Mascello:

We got away from the static geometric design and wanted to get closer to the famous vintage posters from Switzerland Tourism.

I’m interested to see which vintage posters they had in mind because Nazare feels distinctly 21st-century to me, but I get the gist.

Simple, minimal identity and portfolio website for Dublin-based photographer Anna Jankowska, entirely set in Bruta by Natanael Gama (&DISCOVER).

For centuries, the goal of design and architecture was to create physical and sacred locations for the faithful. Now, religious or “faithful” designers are outwardly and publicly few and far between.

Faith in Design gathered graduate students and practitioners together to discuss how religion and design can coexist. How can we bridge the divide between our (secular) design lives and our religious lives?

​This event was geared to graduate design students but open to others interested in the intersection of design and religion.

GSD Christian Fellowship and Jewish Students of Design (JewSD) worked together to create packaging, a website, and social media identity for the event.

So as to tell my story, I built a series of posters containing parts of myself. As I wanted to make them fun, I picked up some funny stuff and moments. The story is being told in three parts. My life in Pau Baixo, my address in Goiânia and the moving to São Paulo. Get to know my work. All posters are part of my personal project.

Lab Periodical is a biannual publication with a focus on science, technology and travel. As of yet it can not be ordered. The first run is scheduled for early November.
