The State Garden Show 2029 in Kleve will be a future-oriented project for the entire region under the motto “Stadt, Land, Wasser” (“City, Countryside, Water”). It combines urban development, climate protection, and quality of life – with new green spaces, accessible waterways, and diverse initiatives for a sustainable city of Kleve on the Lower Rhine.

Mariam Hachem’s design was chosen in a design competition organized by the Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences and the city of Kleve. Hachem developed the identity further as her Bachelor thesis project in the summer of 2025.

Design shapes the city and the way people experience it. The corporate identity for the Landesgartenschau Kleve 2029 goes beyond a purely visual system and creates a guiding “blue line” that continues to shape the city beyond the event itself. It not only celebrates the garden show, but also stands for connection and invites residents and visitors to explore the city.

At the core of the identity is the icon system, inspired by the Spoykanal, which runs through Kleve and accompanies people from one place to another. The modular icons are formed from continuous lines that reveal their meaning only at second glance. This connecting principle runs like a blue thread through all elements of the corporate identity, ensuring that orientation, content, and the identity of the garden show work together consistently. The system is complemented by the typeface Flink Neue which supports the icons in an informative way while reinforcing their dynamic lines through its geometric form and solid presence. The color palette highlights water through blue and introduces vibrancy, flowers, and activity through its secondary colors.

The result is a consistent corporate design that gives the Landesgartenschau Kleve 2029 a distinct character and guides visitors and residents through the city like a blue thread.

WEWEHOME is a brand that proposes essential items for the home, the most intimate and comfortable space in our lives.

The arch-shaped WEWEHOME logo symbolizes the concept of home while reflecting the brand’s value of offering essential items for our living space. The wordmark logo is also designed with soft curves to harmonize with the arch shape.

WEWEHOME’s visual elements consist of typography, a color palette, and pattern graphics. The main typeface, Layfort, conveys a modern yet soft image, while the secondary one, F37 Ginger, was chosen for its simple and contemporary style. The color palette and pattern graphics intuitively represent various activities that take place in the kitchen, laundry, bath, and living room, reinforcing the brand’s identity.

Serotalin offers products to support well-being and health. Its focus is on natural food supplements that have been specially developed to promote balance, inner peace and better sleep. Their corporate design uses Faible by Identity Letters.

Lisa Fischbach’s expressive Edie & Eddy collection with its elegant italics and Moritz Kleinsorge’s versatile Allrounder Grotesk and Mono are the hallmarks of PAGE magazine's new look. From the grid to the use of imagery and typography, everything in the magazine has been rethought to give the layout more lightness, space and freedom.

The new design is used in print and on the website. It uses Edie and Eddy for headlines and highlighting, particularly the expressive italics in large quotations. Allrounder Grotesk provides the perfect grey value for body text. From time to time they swap places, Edie and Eddy becoming the main text face and Allrounder Grotesk showing its qualities in larger sizes for headlines and subheads. Together they make an exciting mix for a fresh look.

Combined with the Mono for the marginalia and some paragraphs, the magazine uses the full range of the two families. From Sans to Mono of Allrounder Grotesk to Slab, Text and Modern of the Edie and Eddy collection, including the italics of all versions. The Edie & Eddy fonts are perfectly used – they stand out where they fit and can simultaneously support the individual layout of articles in future issues of the magazine.

In a one-week seminar led by Prof. Dr. Pablo Abend at the Burg Giebichenstein Kunsthochschule Halle, the course participants took an in-depth look at Marc Augé's theory of “non-places”. In addition to reading and discussing the texts together, the participants also went in search of “non-places” in the vicinity of the university, conducted on-site field studies, and formulated their own essays on these places, recording what makes them “non-places” according to Augé's definition. The results, photographs and source documents from the seminar, were then compiled into a publication for the annual exhibition by Marie Teigler and Jakob Nonnen and published by the Design Studies Department of Burg Giebichenstein Kunsthochschule Halle.

Baghira by Identity Letters in its Regular style was chosen for the titles and markups and Archive Grotesk by Scifipoetry for the main text.

Berlin based design studio Polyform rebranded the Landesmuseum Natur und Mensch Oldenburg (State Museum Nature and Mankind Oldenburg). Faible by Identity Letters is used in every design application. From the press release by Polyform:

The Natur und Mensch Museum is in the middle of a change process to open up to diversity. It affects all areas of the museum and is funded for four years in the program 360° – Fund for Cultures of the New Urban Society of the Federal Cultural Foundation. At the end of 2020, Polyform started the project with the task of developing a concise and diversity-sensitive museum brand for the Landesmuseum Natur und Mensch Oldenburg, which communicates the museum's image change externally and internally.

Inviting everyone to understand more – that’s how the museum sums up its mission. With clarity and a variety of colors, the new corporate design shows Natur und Mensch as a place of fascination and sensual discovery.

Operahuset Nordfjord is a cultural hub in western Norway that accommodates a wide variety of concerts, operas and shows. Blåmyra developed a design system based on columns and rows. The 8 pillars in the logo are translated into 8 columns, and the rows are constructed from the 5 lines found in sheet music. Through this system, modules are constructed as building blocks for each individual format: from individual events on social media to flyers and banners.

Glance Sans by Identity Letters was chosen for its visual details mirroring the diagonal lines found in the logo. The color palette is derived from the building’s color coding: the orange stage carpet, the red doors and the characteristic light installation on the outside of the building. In some applications, Glance Sans is paired with other typefaces, such as Centra No. 2.

Hochschulen in der Pandemie is a publication available as softcover or via open-access through transcript Verlag. Edited by Holger Angenent, Jörg Petri, and Tatiana Zimenkova, it examines the many unprecedented challenges in higher education arising from the Covid-19 pandemic.

The designers Jenny Lüde and Jörg Petri used the typeface Glance Slab by Moritz Kleinsorge for the chapter headings, Piazzolla by Huerta Tipográfica for body text, and IBM Plex Sans by Mike Abbink for the headlines.

Die Wasser sprechen (“The waters speaks”) is a participatory literature event at Hanse Werft Lübeck about the history of water: “What would the waters say if they could speak?” is the question raised to which the public was called to respond in all forms of writing, whether in poetry or prose.

It is an ecological and political theme. Atlantique Miami, sober and elegant,—in addition to bearing the name of an ocean—is designed for the large-scale edition of text and lends itself well to institutional communication.

Some of its design features (cut endings, sophisticated calligraphic solutions) ensure also a lively use in large size. Atlantique Miami is supported by the sans-serif Allrounder Grotesk.

Design agency Von Helden und Gestalten (From Heroes and Characters) designed a new corporate design for the the management consultancy Struktur Management Partner (SMP).

The new design pairs Glance Sans by Identity Letters with Aribau Grotesk by Emtype.

Punctum features the final projects of students in the University of Portsmouth’s BA(Hons) Photography programme. The entire catalog is set in Glance Sans from Identity Letters. The typeface was designed by Moritz Kleinsorge; the catalog was designed by Éloïse Parrack.

In 2021, Wolfgang Seidl and his agency seidldesign developed the new corporate design of the Staatstheater Meiningen. Allrounder Grotesk and Allrounder Antiqua were chosen as the theater’s new corporate typefaces. The seasonal program shown here accordingly represents only part of the overall design.

Schwindelerregende Höhen is an exhibition by artist Katja Aufleger shown in the Rudolf-Scharpf-Galerie of the Wilhelm-Hack-Museum Ludwigshafen. Berlin based Studio S/M/L designed the exhibition catalog, combining Werksatz and Bluu Suuperstar. The bilingual publication (English/German) was edited by Julia Katharina Thiemann and René Zechlin.

Nolde is a small brand that is committed to long-term fashion, to reuse as a lever for change and to connections between people to create a more sustainable economy, with the goal of making the world a bit better for everyone.

Designed by Luis Armesilla in Madrid, the main concept is to create a brand that speaks about connections, adaptability, and cleanliness.

The visual identity uses Glance Sans, designed by Moritz Kleinsorge and published by Identity Letters. Its details reinforce the brand concept: “Some strokes may not connect to their stems, creating visible gaps and thus, a dynamic impression of balance and movement. However, Glance Sans has a calmer appearance due to the lack of detached serifs.”

Web design for Kunstverein Weiden, an art society and art space in eastern Bavaria that also is home to the Museum Max Bresele. Moritz Kleinsorge’s Allrounder Grotesk (2020) is used in Regular and Italic styles throughout.
