The RubaiFont book contains forty-seven of Khayyam’s rubaiyats, which are written in forty-seven of Si47ash’s Persian fonts. This work is a typographic and artistic approach towards Khayyam’s poems. On each page, there is one rubai set in a different font.

Demokles’in kılıcı (“Sword of Damocles”) is a play by Turkish playwright Nâzım Hikmet (1902–1963). It was translated to Persian by Fereshte Bigdeli and published by ShoorAfarin as شمشیر داموکلس.

Si47ash Hezareh fonts were used in this book as body text fonts to create the most legible experience. The publisher actually told me that they went over dozen of fonts and finally decided that Hezareh fonts were the best choice. And that makes it very special to me.

Mafia Nights is a Persian television series in the family, social and enigmatic genres. This series is based on the Mafia party game In each season of this series, 12 participants from cinema and television actors and other celebrities are invited to play. The series started broadcasting on Tuesday, November 17, 2020.

I did a custom font for this show which is a modified version of Si47ash Bulb named Mafia Nights. Si47ash Bulb is used as well. Two other fonts of mine are also used in this program, Si47ash Yaddasht, a handwritten Persian/Arabic font, and Si47ash MitraDeformed.

Halloween in upon us and what is better to do than browsing through some of nightmarish typefaces here on Fonts In Use! These items – cushion, T-Shirt, pin badge, phone cover, etc. – are done by Reza Modiri and he used an Arabic/Persian horror font named Si47ash Kaboos (Kaboos translates as “Nightmare”) to do so. Another great use of Si47ash Apadana (Persepolis) font on the cover of La Jeune Fille Et La Nuit (“Gone in the night”). The author is Guillaume Musso, translator is Aria Nouri and the book is published by Alborz Pub.

Si47ash Barbad is used for the trophy that was awarded to poets at Anjoman-e She’r-e Jam. The designer is Samad Bahrami Kashkooli.

We all love handwritten fonts, don't we? Especially when they are used to design a loving teenager-y thing like this! This digital poster was made by Ghashangiiat and says: “I hope you’ll be the most constant thing in my life!”

This is my typeface called Si47ash Yaddasht. Its name can be translated to memo or note. Si47ash Yaddasht comes in two versions.

A fun take on Leonardo da Vinci’s The Last Supper fresco, combined with color font Si47ash Rangarang (Colorful Dream). BehLUG is a Linux students meeting at Beheshti University. The chromatic typeface supports Persian, Arabic, and Latin, as shown on the poster.

Iran has been through some tough natural crisis in the past few days, with floods all over more than 12 states. Designer and typographer Ali Ahmadbeigy created this work based on a Khorasani poem with one of my typefaces, Si47ash Garmalad, in order to criticize the lack of discipline, order, and management in Iran.

I came across this beautiful poster by Milad Fakourian. It was designed for a ceremony for Jalal Maghami, a well-known Iranian voice actor (dubber) with decades of experience. It appropriately was called صدای دیدنی (“Visible Voice”).
