BM Alaric was used for the typography for Echo, a solo EP by BTS member Jin. The typeface was slightly modified for the project’s art direction.

OVER is the latest album by Japanese singer-songwriter Daichi Miura (三浦大知), released in January 2024 with Sonic Groove. The graphics used for the album as well as the OVER tour that started in 2023 used Murathan Biliktü’s BM Babet as the main typeface.

Originally created in collaboration with Dutch artist Babet, the typeface appears on the album cover, merchandise, and tour visuals, providing a unified look for the OVER project.

Murathan Biliktu was responsible for the design of both the title and the poster for Gizem Candan’s Host & Compost art exhibition at the Ignite Gallery of OCAD University, employing BM Agia for the title and Inter for additional text on the poster.

In the words of the curator,

Host & Compost showcases a remarkable collection of installations, paintings, and sculptures exploring the practical and spiritual potential of hosting non-human life, promising inspiration, courage, and lots of compost love.

Terres Olive is using BM Ikon Bold by Biliktu Foundry with modified O and E for their logo. The typeface is inspired by the Mediterranean landscape, making it fitting for the Terres Olive brand. It is paired with Henderson Sans. The labels additionaly use Cormorant Garamond.

Art Days – Napoli Campania’s third edition, titled “Crossing Layers,” takes place from October 19 to 29, 2023. It offers a diverse cultural program across Naples and the Campania region, featuring exhibitions, workshops, and discussions hosted by various organizations.

They use BM Ikon by Murathan Biliktü for titles and Neue Haas Grotesk by Christian Schwartz for the body text.

Ein Anderes Duisburg (“Another Duisburg”) focuses on commemorating Duisburg’s migration history and addressing racism. The web documentary features historical documents, photos, and contemporary witness interviews that illuminate migration experiences, racism, resistance, and self-organization through thematic episodes.

The branding for this project was designed by Judith Weber and Ernst Wolf of Reiberei.

For the titles, BM Arbeiter Neue Mono by Murathan Biliktü is being used. This typeface can be considered a tribute to the migrant workers in Germany. To learn more about it, you can read the interview in PAGE magazine (German, €).

Zetkin by Inga Plönnigs was used for body text on the website, with its Wide style to distinguish the names of protagonists.

The cover art for the book Basiliski Lapsed by Kadri-Ann Sumera was designed by Eiko Ojala, using Arbeiter Neue by Murathan Biliktü. Publishing house Varrak describes the story:

Basiliski Lapsed allows you to glimpse into several aspects of life... Dramatic, sometimes tragic occurrences are given a comedic spin. This is the best creative representation of recent events. This is a book on a modern diagnosis of developing mutual incomprehension and loss of empathy.

The serif used on the back cover is yet to be identified.

Korea Town Acid is an electronic music artist and DJ from Toronto, Canada. The cover art for her album record Elephant in the Room was designed by me, Murathan Biliktu. I made a custom typeface for the album called BM Elephand, which was inspired by the childlike, therapeutic, and raw theme of the record. I also created various gig posters for Korea Town Acid, which mainly use fonts by my Biliktü Foundry.

Domus Vim used Murathan Biliktü’s BM Erkin typeface with a modified D and O for its logo and various products.

Herbs Studio designed the branding for Domus Vim, a Sydney based object and fabrication studio.

Rainbow Studios is an art space that also sells jewelry, homewares, scents, and more. It was founded by Brent Gold and Jade Gillett.

At the end of the winter semester 2021/22, the Nuremberg Academy of Fine Arts held an exhibition to bid farewell to its alumni. The students were showing works that have a special significance for their artistic growth. The entire campus was used as a display area, with class pavilions transformed into exhibition spaces and lecture rooms transformed into installations.

Andreas Weltner and Tobi Frank designed the invitations, posters, the website and the catalog. They used BM Ikon for the titles and Biliktu Grotesk Screen (superseded by Biliktu Grafik) for paragraph text. The website header additionally uses Sequel 100 Black.

I – Murathan Biliktü – have collaborated with pop artist Babet to create a typeface for her branding. It should feel like it came straight out of a 1980s fashion magazine, ageless while being original to express Babet’s own vision and personality.

Babet used BM Babet for her latest music video “No One Else” and for social media clips.

Drove, a Dutch electronic group, released their debut EP Dusk, with Martin Garrix’s Stmpd Rcrds on board. The album, which has six tracks, was published on January 8, 2021. It was followed up by another EP, Dawn, and both EP records were then combined as one record album named Dusk till Dawn.

Drove uses BM Erkin by Murathan Biliktü throughout their artwork, from social media posts and album covers to the music videos.

Meyy is a Belgian artist who debuted in 2019. She collaborated with Lacuna Studios for the art direction of her latest single. BM Erkin by Murathan Biliktü is used as the main typeface for her single cover art and the title graphic for her music video.

Shane Griffin (Grif Studio) used the BM Ikon typeface designed by Murathan Biliktü for the title graphics of Wiz Khalifa’s “Millions” music video. Visit the Behance page for more details.

Shane describes the video as “a surrealist trip through the many worlds of Wiz Khalifa. Vibrant swirling fluids, time displacements, distorted dreams, and chromatic colors move us through Wiz's psychedelic thoughts.”

Young Cister is a rapper from Chile with a well-established fan base. BM Erkin by Murathan Biliktü (2020) is featured in the music video and Instagram stories for his latest single “Sigo Pensándote”. For the artist’s name and small texts, Richard Miller’s Tactic Sans is used.

Artwork for the debut album release of music producer Fredi Casso. The album title uses BM Erkin by Murathan Biliktü (2020). In some cases Asfen by Inès Davodeau (2020) is used for the artist’s name. The title is also used in music video clips. The font can be seen at the beginning and in the background of the video for “Pixel” by Fredi Casso.

The sans serif typefaces on the album are yet unidentified.
