Roger Food is a distributor of Italian culinary excellence, operating in both B2B and B2C markets. Its mission is to bring the best of Italian food to the table: authentic products, carefully selected, that tell stories of regions, traditions, and passion. The name comes from Ruggiero, founder and driving force behind the project, who defines himself as a “Paladin of Freshness” – a reference to both the quality of his products and the efficiency of his deliveries.

The visual identity is built around a red and green palette, evoking Italian heritage as well as the typical colors of many of the products he offers – first and foremost, tomatoes. The overall style is rooted in tradition, with retro accents that recall the legacy of historic Italian food brands. The main typeface is bold and condensed, reflecting Ruggiero’s strong and pragmatic personality, while the use of a script font brings in the warmth of tradition and the handmade.

The symbol is centered on the letter R – the brand’s initial and its visual core. This R is formed by merging a fork, symbol of conviviality and the pleasure of sharing a meal, with a magnifying glass, representing the tireless search for quality ingredients across Italy. The slanted form adds a sense of movement, conveying speed and dynamism – qualities that define every choice, every delivery, every product. It’s an identity that brings together passion, substance, and vision – just like the person who inspired it.

This online ad additionally features Betty Crocker’s brand typeface Grenette (here used with a non-standard e) and Yellowtail for “Limited Edition!”.

Breakfast Pastry is the primary typeface used on the packaging for Cookies for Santa by Betty Crocker, a brand by General Mills. While the typeface family by Missy Meyer does include solid styles, “for Santa” uses the open style with the gaps filled in.

Secondary fonts used on the packaging include Andes Condensed and Blog Script.

Birra Stout serves as the display font for Ralph’s Famous Italian Ices.

The company was founded in 1928 by Italian immigrant Ralph Silvestro, who sold his delicious product throughout Staten Island. Today Ralph’s has 83 outlets from Montauk, New York, to Lanoka Harbor, New Jersey.

Joshua Darden’s Birra Stout features for social media announcements and for headings on the website. It’s supported by the sans-serif Raleway. The menu uses Yellowtail and the Ralph’s logo is based on Baksoda.

On a journey of self-discovery and renewal, my new professional identity embraces simplicity, robustness, and vibrant colors to craft an entirely fresh universe. At the core of this transformation lies self-awareness.

This vision is rooted in my surname, Guerreiro, which stems from the Spanish word for war, battle. The shield and helmet emerge as central elements. Furthermore, the identity unfolds into myriad subjective interpretations, fostering an interactive experience.

Grounded in the neo-brutalist style, my identity seeks clarity, simplicity, and authenticity, conveying the sensation of pure and direct design.

I have chosen Normalidad as the primary typeface for its flexible and practical use. It encompasses a wide range of widths and plays a prominent role in our identity. The secondary logo is set in Yellowtail.

Aligned with the new identity, the studio’s positioning aims to pursue disruptive and bold projects that, like its own identity, are rich in colors and unafraid to venture forth, regardless of their target market.

To expand the world of Clam-O-Naise®, they produced a 19-product line of Clam-O-Merch. Bumper stickers, tees, luxurious Clamjamas—there's something for everyone!

The brand identity was inspired by the retro designs of late-60s and early-70s food packaging. It utilizes the typeface Blimey as a display font and Antipol as its secondary. Sprinkled throughout the site and merch, you'll find Genty and Cheee, alongside other fonts. Everything was designed in-house by the Cards Against Humanity design team.

Cardon Webb’s covers for this series are inspired by mid-century jazz albums. All the titles are hand lettered except for Going to the Territory which is (and this is only a guess) a modification of Mr Dafoe with Oregano Italic caps. The lettering for excellent Invisible Man cover is inspired by the rarely used but wonderful Linotype Gneisenauette.

These type uses aside, the main reason to celebrate these covers is the lettering, which is pitch perfect. Do not miss the large images of the other books at Webb’s site.
