Arcoscenico is the final exhibition of the first phase of Messinscèna, a two-year mapping project of the Roman art scene, with the aim of analysing the art research in the capital. The event also acts as a sounding board of the Roman art scene in the national context, as well as a moment of theoretical confrontation among the artists.

Messinscèna is a one-shot exhibition format. Each appointment was dedicated to a different artist, who exhibited their own work and a written theoretical statement for five hours. The artists were invited to install their projects in a space that is always identical and to identify a particular form of relationship with the user.

During the staging, the public was asked to respect the rules of use decided by the artist and not to produce photographic material. During the project, only the video interviews with the artists and the public were disseminated, the works were seen/experienced only by those present. In two years, ten exhibitions, ten interviews with the artists and over 150 interviews with the public were produced.

The catalog was conceived and realised in two editions by Numero Cromatico. The idea was to narrate the contemporary art scene in the capital by mapping some of the most interesting and relevant research. The contributors to the catalog are Numero Cromatico, Dionigi Mattia Gagliardi, Salvatore Gaetano Chiarella, Manuel Focareta. The publication measures 18×28 cm and contains 48 pages, in Italian and English. It was Risograph printed on Favini recycled paper.

Oaze is a foodhall in Palhoça, Brazil. The naming and visual identity of the business was handled by design studio Ajna:

Oaze was born as a new food hall concept: a sophisticated, diverse, and open-air food court located in the heart of a large entertainment hub. The challenge was to create a brand with a strong presence and memorable visuals, capable of communicating variety without losing unity.

Inspired by the concept of an “oasis,” we created a visual and verbal identity that reinforces Oaze Foodhall as a place of pleasure. Through the naming, we evoked the idea of ​​a refuge amidst urban chaos, conveying the proposal to offer a rich and diverse gastronomic experience, with different restaurants and establishments in one place. The vibrant color palette brings life, while the bold logo carries personality for a sophisticated and welcoming environment.

The identity pairs typefaces in contrasting weights and widths. Roc Grotesk from Kostic is used in condensed, regular and extended widths, and in lighter and heavier weights. Its Heavy style served as a basis for the logo. The sans serif is juxtaposed with a few weights of Right Didone from Pangram Pangram. The less showy Gilroy from Radomir Tinkov is used for small type.

A custom sticker pack for Rimowa and TANK magazine – an exclusive collaboration featuring travel-inspired colorful designs. For the design, Burro Studio chose Waldenburg Condensed Medium and Apparat Black, among other fonts.

The Scotland National Football Team is preparing for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign with a bold new visual presence across their social media channels.

The campaign makes extensive use of Roa by Typeverything for its main titles, giving the graphics a strong and confident voice that matches the energy of international football. Roa is paired with Roc Grotesk and what looks like handwritten caps.

The corporate identity and packaging system have been developed not only to express the brand’s visual appeal, but also to embody Ojo’s core promise and rhythm. The brand’s dynamic visual language is shaped around the theme of rhythm—brought to life through vibrant graphic elements, fashion-forward typography, and motion-inspired compositions.

Inspired by the diffusion of light, the graphic language includes clean, detailed visuals that reflect the energy and variety of different rhythms. These illustrative elements are designed based on tonal values and serve to support the brand perception without carrying symbolic meaning.

Ojo’s brand color palette conveys a vibrant, modern, and energetic identity. Rather than focusing on individual colors, the strength of the palette lies in their combination and hierarchy of use. This chromatic balance plays a key role in reinforcing the desired perception of the brand.

Through this integrated system, Ojo is not merely a product—it becomes a sensory experience that brings rhythm and emotion into everyday life.

The logotype is custom drawn. The packaging designs use Canela Text supported by Bicyclette.

Presenting Attenda. A new name and brand for a technology company helping payments get from A to B, as simply as possible.

The old company, Suresite, are a family technology business supporting the fuel and forecourts world with payments and logistics. But the move away from fossil fuels means the decline of the petrol forecourt, and how we pay is changing with the rise of unattended contactless transactions.

So they are pivoting to being laser-focused on payments facilitation for any industry, positioned firmly as a fintech. This required a new name to signal radical change, alongside a story and brand that would engage new customers without alienating current ones.

The new name, Attenda, alludes to their tech helping along attended and unattended payments, and also attending to customer needs (they are known for great service).

The visual identity by Limber Brands revolves around a simple, memorable symbol based around the movement of money. Payments, when using Attenda, go from buyer to seller as directly as possible. So the symbol combines a straightforward horizontal arrow and the letter A, leaning into the future.

The identity uses Roc Grotesk as the primary typeface, with its horizontal emphasis reflecting the general horizontal-ness elsewhere in the brand. Supporting in contrast is GT Pressura Mono, a nod to monospaced credit card text.

From word-famous paintings to contemporary pieces, Je veux être riche et célèbre, je serai artiste aims at showing children and teenagers the various aspects of what it is to “be an artist”. Tired of the overtold story of the pennyless genius, Dominique de Font-Réaulx (mediation director at the Louvre) tries to paint a different picture with detailed explanations about artist’s works, historical context, and vision.

The book features titles in Benoît Bodhuin’s Pimpit (bb-bureau) and texts in Jonny Pinhorn’s Karla, with italics from Loretta (Nova Type Foundry).

A presentation label accompanies each artwork, giving useful details such as artists’ names, title and techniques but also unexpected ones like the moment the work was created in the artist’s life, or the artwork size compared to an average human being. Those labels are set in Clash Grotesk (Indian Type Foundry) and Roc Grotesk (Kostic).

Health-Ade, known for its kombucha beverages, has entered a new market with SunSip, a line of healthier sodas. Seventies script font by Sproviero Type was tapped for the project by Flock, who handled the fun and fresh brand and design work for the gut-healthy drink company. They used Balgin Bold from Studio Sun as the perfect sans serif companion.

Seventies had minor customization work done by Maximiliano Sproviero with some help from The Type Founders. This included lowering the dot on the i, widening the bowl of the p and swashing its tail, along with a few subtle tweaks for a more streamlined look.

Additional fonts used on the can labels include Kostic’s Roc Grotesk, Klim Type Foundry’s Söhne Schmal, and Helvetica with Condensed.

La Gazette des Arches is a monthly publication produced with the support of Plateau Urbain and Arches Citoyennes. The leaflet contains the latest news about the site – a social space and community center located in the heart of Paris – the photo of the month, as well as games and anecdotes.

In this fun and colourful leaflet, graphic designer and illustrator Maud Remblier uses Dina Chaumont Display and Roc Grotesk.

Inevitable is the sixth Korean EP record by K-pop duo Super Junior-D&E, a subgroup of the boy band Super Junior. On the album cover, the title lettering mixes Vivaldi and the Wide Bold style from Roc Grotesk, with a modified V and L.

Taking inspiration from the candy flavours, we envisioned a punchy, loud and vibrant identity, perfect for insatiable taste buds. We introduced a dangerously playful mascot, Mr. Bomba, representing the explosive mix of sweet & spice, as well as the entire collection of candy flavours, known as the ‘Scovillains’. The illustrations are comical, sassy and full of attitude.

We reinvented the packaging experience for Chilli Bomba, featuring flavour-specific colour combos, illustrations and an unmissable type system including Brice, Roc Grotesk, Ill Hand, and the quirky workhorse Lil Grotesk. Packed in a matte 8oz pouch bag with a wide opening, the new packaging makes for mess-free sharing with your friends.

Leeds Art Gallery is thrilled to present a major retrospective of British documentary photographer Peter Mitchell:

Known for documenting Leeds throughout his career, the exhibition explores and reflects upon key bodies of work from Mitchell’s remarkable career and feature works previously unseen by the public. Peter Mitchell has a long-rooted connection with Leeds and Nothing Lasts Forever marks nearly half a century since Mitchell’s first exhibition at Leeds Art Gallery in 1975.

Nothing Lasts Forever is his poetic title for the exhibition, which is accompanied by a new publication; together they create a timely opportunity to enjoy work by one of the most important early colour photographers of the 20th century.

Marketing and exhibition design was created by Leeds Museums & Galleries in-house creative designer in consultation with Peter Mitchell. Rusty reds and vernacular type prominent across Mitchell's photographs informed the interpretation headings set in Altivo Black by Kostic Type Foundry, paired with the gallery’s house font GT Walsheim.

Berŕygood is an organic superfood bar located in Melbourne, Australia. Serving up a delicious and nutritious menu on the daily (think: Açaí, smoothies, pressed juices) they’re sure to become a go-to for healthy lifestyles. Their point of difference is a commitment to freshness, meaning no ingredient is pre-packaged – a bold yet entirely worthwhile feat.

We created a logo that reflected the organic and fresh nature of the brand through subtle and unique textures, sans any obvious iconography. This was counterbalanced with a bold and fun use of Interstate Condensed Ultra Black to convey liveliness and fun. This heavy font weight was paired with Roc Grotesk, which helps lighten up the branding and leans into the healthy aspect of the food.

Ichigo is a Japanese comfort foods cafe with a casual Americana atmosphere situated in Glasgow. Local design studio Everything Will Be Fine (EWBF), led by Kerr Vernon, configured a playful mix-and-match brand identity that ties the conceptual, visual, and experiential elements of the fusion concept together. As EWBF explains in their project overview,

Ichigo offer an expansive range of Japanese comfort foods. Sushi is made fresh daily in-house and can be ordered by the set or by the individual piece — allowing for creative mixing and matching to each individual’s taste. Our brand identity is inspired by the streets of Tokyo, Japanese minimalism and mid-century Americana. Mascots, Ichi and Igo play a central role in defining the visual language with hidden ingredients in their hairstyles.

The typography is neatly composed with moments of verve, putting it in play with the minimalist yet fun illustrations and colors. The wordmark is set in Borough Grotesk Regular, a revival of a 19th-century grot that also recalls the bold sans serif typography of Tokyo signage. The sturdiness of Borough Grotesk contrasts with a dynamically set Cortado, a brush script with mid-century flavor. Monotalic Medium, used for smaller copy, complements the blocky rhythm of Borough Grotesk while incorporating beats of cursive flair. The Japanese typeface used for “美味い” is Hiragino Kaku Gothic W8.

This identity design symbolically represents the showcasing of YILEE and NAMKEON’s work in a single exhibition space. The poster, with a central axis dividing two different worlds, expresses how two designers display their respective universes within one exhibition venue. Taking the title Two Journeys, One Canvas as a motif, the very center of the poster is segmented to stage the individuality of the two designers' work while also blending them together. The main identity placed in the center (typography) serves as a powerful link uniting the two styles. It conveys the explosive journey of creativity and fashion worldview that the two designers have continued from the UK, and how this harmonizes at the same moment in time.

The fonts used for the main title are Roc Grotesk and Regina, which encapsulate the fashion-inspired dynamism of the two designers.
 For the body text, Roc Grotesk is used for the English text, and Pretendard for the Korean, presenting the profiles of the two designers in a straightforward manner.

Raye the Store is showcasing hundreds of products of the most innovative and exciting food, drinks and wellness brands. It brings together a meticulously curated collection of selective brands in one store with innovation, nutrition, and design at its core.

Based on a minimalistic grid system, the typographic identity is flexible to adapt a fresh look from edition to edition. So far, eight pop-up events have been taking place in the birth city of raye — London, UK. Each one has been branded with a signature color and typeface, which together with the iconic grid system formed the basis for the unique look.

Edition number 06 took place in the hot summer month of 2023 in Spitalfields. The vibrant color as well as the chunky, friendly typeface invited customers to stop by, browse through the wide range of innovative brands and enjoy a scoop of artisanal ice cream in store.
