Branding for optometrist Òptica Olot, founded in 1984 and located in Olot, Spain. The new identity was developed by Gassiot & Llobet using Morion.

The literature festiva Mot Festival took place in Girona and Olot in March 2022, under the theme of “literature and rurality”.

A field full of straw bales can be noticed through their shadows to tell us about rurality. “Literature collects, transforms, and can create the story of a place anew”, say Maria Bohigas Sales and Roser Vernet Anguera, coordinators of Mot Festival 2022.

All elements of the identity use Nomada Incise by Jordi Embodas (Tipografies) and we created a custom shadowed version to mix bales and letters on the horizon.

Corporis is a Pilates studio in a small Spanish town. The studio takes inspiration fro the Polestar Pilates philosophy which focuses on the body healing through movement and mind-body-spirit connectivity. One of the main differences of Polestar and traditional types of Pilates is the use of a machine instead of a floor mat.

The owner approached me asking for a whole design of her new Pilates studio in town which would also include yoga and sporadical events and masterclasses. Young but persistent, the founder has developed a personal way to teach Pilates by mixing the Polestar philosophy with her own way of understanding movement.

The design of the brand was inspired by the characteristic geometrical shapes of the polestar machine which shape the main logo of Corporis. The geometrical shapes are recurrent throughout the whole branding, bringing structure but also freedom, like the Polestar philosophy.

Pier Sans is the main typeface. It is a modern, structured, slightly geometric typeface that looks perfect both large and small. It adapts to all necessary designs and texts and gives to Corporis a strong and defined personality.

The project included the design of a website and social media presence, advertising and interior design collaboration to create a complete and consistent brand for Corporis.

Fisios is a physiotherapy and osteopathy centre based in Spain with more than 20 years of experience. They approached for a rebranding that would match with their philosophy: “making all patients feel like home.”

I did the rebranding using Benton Sans as the main typeface, due to its neat appearance, elegance and visual character that follows the grotesque model.

The brand represents the cosiness, naturality and authenticity that we all find at home. The rebrand includes the design of the logo, stationery, packaging, outfit, signage and website design.

CPA Olot is a world champion skating club from Olot, Spain. As former skaters, Helena Corredera and Paula Pons were assigned the task to design the first publication by CPA Olot.

The book is about experiences and memories of different people from the known skating club. It’s all about personal stories and memories from not only the skaters, but also the trainers, the parents, the people who supported and still support the club.

We were searching for a great typeface that works for books and publications. Lyon has an elegant look while having a contemporary feel, making it excellent for this project. We match it with Suisse Int’l, a classic-style sans serif typeface that blends without attracting attention.
