Luddites is a bookstore with an upstairs wine bar where customers can enjoy a glass of natural wine, situated in the heart of Antwerp. A refined logo was created symbolizing their two core elements, books and wine. The mark can be transformed into a pattern that can be applied in many ways and on different carriers, creating a new window of possibilities.

For the design of this identity, Vrints-Kolsteren used the typeface Louize designed by Matthieu Cortat.

Everett and Everett Mono were chosen by design studio Order for the visual identity and website of Breaker.

Formerly SingularDTV, Breaker's mission aims to evolve the entertainment industry with a decentralized ecosystem empowering creators to deliver a diverse collection of classic and original content.

The Breaker logo uses Eurostile.

Unsolicited is an independent creative practice based in Barcelona, founded in 2020 by graphic designer and architect Gabriela Hernández, specializing in visual identities, print, and editorial design.

The identity is systematic and strict, with high contrast between an always-present oversized logo and the rest of the technical information. Tight margins, a strict grid, and a bold red set a classic, mid-century-like corporate mood.

The logotype uses caps from Editorial New, with an upside-down L repurposed for the first letter I. The sans-serif Object Sans is used for other text.

Wilder Fields is a technology-enabled food company producing extraordinarily flavorful, fresh, safe, and sustainably grown food for local communities across the country. Harnessing bleeding-edge technology, sustainable operations, and ethical real estate practices, Wilder Fields seeks to nourish the world and transform local economies by reinventing the practice of large-scale indoor vertical farming.

The One Design team worked with CEO Jake Counne, CCO James Radke, and their team since early 2020 to develop the Wilder Fields brand identity and communication strategy. Formerly known as Backyard Fresh Farms, a new name, positioning strategy, messaging plan, identity program, and packaging system has been crafted from the ground-up to express a more resonant, emotional, and authentic narrative for the organization.

An engaging brand identity is developed to differentiate the project in a competitive property landscape. The project, high above the city at Spring Hill, Brisbane was renamed Cirrus, and the Theola team created a refined, contemporary identity that delivered on the brand promise of ‘an elevated approach to city living’ underpinned by the positioning ‘High above it all’.

Ogg Display is used as the main typeface, paired with Neue Haas Grotesk for text in small sizes.

Visual identity by Studio Gangplank for Georgia Cannon, an interior designer who creates refined spaces in partnership with local architects, artists, and craftspeople. Known for her delightful use of colour, texture and light, Studio Gangplank developed a brand identity that embodies these qualities.

Drawing inspiration from Georgia’s partnerships with traditional craftspeople, they designed her own form of ‘maker’s mark’. The mark’s geometry is a nod to Georgia Cannon’s appreciation of raw forms and of midcentury design, while also subtly representing her initials.

Situated in the beautiful Andräviertel, described as the ‘Paris of Salzburg’, between Kapuzinerberg and the Mirabell Palace and gardens, The Mozart has stood the test of time. Since the 1950s, it has hosted guests from all over the world, charmed by its classic reputation and traditional values of hospitality.

Today, its past has become become an important feature of its present and future, with a new look design which blends both its history and tradition, with a more modernist approach, in keeping with the requirements of guests in the 21st century. Like Mozart, whose music has proved timeless, we think we have achieved that, producing a hotel which could be described as a ‘modern classic’.

Mozart’s work was the starting point for diverse graphical approach with a flexible design rhythm, that communicates the hotels classic routes with a modern twist.

The typeface Amen from Hungarumlaut was the perfect match for this project. This modernist typeface with characteristic geometric details felt fresh right from the beginning. As a counterpart to Amen Display we chose a timeless grotesk: Gerstner-Programm from Forgotten Shapes.

Never Now’s identity for homeware store Pan After is a melting pot of clashing typography and colour

Pan After sells a collection of carefully sourced homeware products online and from their store in Collingwood, Australia. With a focus on handmade, ethically produced and environmentally conscious goods, the Pan After range not only considers the aesthetic value of an item but also the process of how an item is made, who it is made by and the materials used.

Their identity, by Melbourne-based studio Never Now, introduces a melting pot of clashing colours, unusual typography and jarring negative space to create a visual system that celebrates flexibility and structure – much like the store itself. The wordmark is set in Toy, a condensed serif by Zurich-based type foundry Out of the Dark. Accompanying typography uses Phil Baber’s sans serif Maria. The two typefaces contrast against each other – Toy is compact and elegant, while Maria is geometric and brutal. The combination of irregular spacing and fine margins reflect the quirky but curated nature of items available at Pan After.

Quite Quiet combines innovative industrial aesthetics with emotional jewelry design. Their philosophy is that real luxury is created when all aspects of a product are applied with the utmost care – from clear design principles, to fair-traded materials and sustainable production.

At the core of the brand world is the custom drawn word mark, translating “Quite Quiet” into a calm typographical image. To achieve this aesthetic, we combined the elegant contrast that’s typical for serif typefaces with the basic letterforms of Calibre, a sans serif with a modern look and feel, and avoided the use of any superfluous graphic décor. Off-the-shelf Calibre is used for all text, on the stationery, the website, and elsewhere.

Virid's primary wordmark set in each of the brand's color combinations.

Virid is a training, staffing, and consulting agency for Michigan’s growing cannabis industry. The company provides a wide range of HR related solutions and sets itself apart by the quality and education of its candidates.

While the cannabis industry is still very young, its presence in our culture is not. Traction’s strategy for Virid sought to take advantage of this sentiment. The agency's design approach focused on utilizing cues from an era that not only embodied the brand’s newly crafted tonality but celebrated the use of marijuana in all forms: the late 1960s and early 1970s.The design team collected a range of design instances from Woodstock tickets to cooking magazines as a source of inspiration.

The primary logo, based on Bookmania, is a custom wordmark featuring a “sprouting” V, symbolic of the growth of business and of cannabis. Bookmania is also used for headlines, supported by Centra No. 2 for all other text.

A single page website was developed, plus a set of brand collateral with center-focused design. Some of the brand pieces focus on a singular color approach, while other pieces are executed in each of the brand's color combinations.

Visual identity for architect Cyntia Alexandrino. The project was built on the aesthetic line of two great architects chosen by the client. The first was Renzo Piano, characteristic for his apparent structures, making a great use of metal structures and the repetition of modules with them. And the second inspiration was the iconic Lina Bo Bardi, famous for her modernist architecture, a movement of which she was part of in Brazil. She graciously used concrete and other materials with square shapes. Based on these two architects, the entire visual system of the brand was built, a formal square structure, modern typography, modular layout and colors that refer to concrete and metal structures.

RightShip is the world’s leading maritime risk management and environmental assessment organisation. It provides ship vetting services to help companies chartering ships make an informed decision on a particular vessel’s safety, risk factors and environmental performance.

Self-titled worked on an evolved brand identity single-mindedly that reinforces RightShip’s driving commitment to safety through both a forward focussed arrow and signature orange – a colour synonymous with maritime safety.

The new identity has been rolled out across a broad scope of materials including printed literature, digital and print advertising, animation and completely redesigned website.
