For German media group Stimme, branding agency Stan Hema in Berlin created a powerful branding using NN Nouvelle Grotesk. From their website:

With our design, the media Group is moving into the future with power. We achieved this goal by working with a broad-based team from the Stimme – including management – and our colleagues from diffferent in a creative collective. Workshops, sprints and tissue meetings were implemented remotely. Successful co-creation rather than a traditional waterfall approach. The benefit? Security in dealing with the new design on the client side and desire to use it to shape the Stimme Mediengruppe on a daily basis.

F37 Attila by F37 Foundry is in use for the brand identity of Stoov, a manufacturer and retailer of heating cushions and pads, electric heating bottles and similar products. The company name is inspired by the Dutch word stoof – a once popular household item, with which you could keep things and people warm. (Wikipedia).

Bolden Design Studio chose F37 Attila as the primary brand typeface. It is used for display purposes, on the website and elsewhere. F37 Attila paired with Euclid Flex for smaller text. The all-lowercase logo appears to be based on Gill Sans.

F37 Ginger by F37 Foundry was chosen by Studio Tic (Tim Coenepeel) for their brand identity, paired with their ever-changing illustrations based around creativity, and a blue and red colour palette. The logo uses F37 Ginger’s Bold weight, the website uses its Regular weight for all information.

Ayuda en Acción is a Spanish NGO that aims to end poverty and inequality by promoting jobs and education in over 22 countries. The organisation decided to update its brand system after the 2020 lockdown situation, and approached the project in the same, long-term and sustainable way as their core pojects. They describe the process on their website (auto translated from Spanish):

The process is similar to the way Ayuda en Acción interacts in each community. Relajaelcoco has accompanied the organization over the last year so that its members familiarize themselves with the new identity from rebranding and could make the essential values ​​of the brand their own and use them on a day-to-day basis.

The logotype is the synthetic representation of making the difference leaving a permanent mark. Typography is a key element in this visual system. Both Bogart by Zetafonts and DM Mono by Colophon Foundry define the two main nuances of the brand, focusing on a digital approach and readability. We have been establishing that Bogart refers to a humanistic and relatable approach of the organization and the DM Mono is more focused on the professionality of Ayuda en Acción.

The visual style is based on documentary essence trying to represent reality avoiding forced poses and unnatural situations. The idea is to provide each picture with a warm light that spreads a clear attitude of embracing communities to remark a human approach.

The illustration style, created in collaboration with Pedro Perles, is based on a more pictorial approach to outline the primary essence that all cultures have in common.

Nowadays is a company that’s taking the junk out of junk food by reinventing classic favorites with only a few simple, animal-free ingredients that are better for you, your family, and the planet. Their flagship product is a 7-ingredient nugget with an unparalleled nutritional profile. The brand identity for Nowadays uses vibrant colors to cue joy and confidence and Gilroy serves as the brand’s singular font family. On pack, immersive claims copy set in Gilroy Bold unfolds from front-to-back for a billboard effect that entices the reader to devour the entire message.

Le Boucanier was founded in 1969 by Arlette and Léon Chalaux, and it quickly became a go-to pub because of its theme nights and other great shows. Located on the Aspirant Herber wharf, next to the canal, this place experienced several lives, from being a club, a cabaret or piano bar to finally becoming a pub known for its good food.

In 2017, Nicolas Jean and François Domingues acquired this magnificent and history charged place. They redesigned the pub's menu, aiming to highlight local craft products, they created a new wine list, loaded with beautiful local references, and thus logically wanted to rework the visual identity of the place to restore its reputation and acclaim.

We developed a custom typeface for the restaurant’s identity. Braciola is an all-caps Art Deco typeface in the Italian tradition, drawn in three weights, with many alternates. It’s used for the logo and menu headers. The menu items are set in a mix of Univers, Univers Ultra Condensed and Caslon Graphique.

“Bistro in Séte since ’69”. The print uses two of Braciola’s three options for the letter S – the third one is a ligature of two stacked S’s.
