Procop is a French paper manufacturer and merchant with a 200 years history. The family-run business is located outside the city of Limoges, in the southwest of France. They distribute all sorts of high-quality papers, with a special stronghold in the fields of classic graphic design and packaging.

Le Cube is Procop’s flagship marketing tool for papers meant for the creative industries, a series of paper samples in quadratic format.

In the pictures you will see two different typefaces. The sober sans-serif is Aktiv Grotesk, published in 2010 by Dalton Maag. It is paired with Kessler, designed by Alaric Garnier and developed with a team at Production Type. Kessler’s central qualities lie in its overall elegance and certain idiosyncratic solutions that provide the typeface with a touch of early twentieth century.

The exhibition Souffler de son souffle (“blowing with your breath”, Nov. 2021 – Apr. 2022) gathered 26 artists from different generations and artistic movements at the Fondation Vincent van Gogh Arles (FVVGA). The exhibition takes a transhistoric route as it covers all the spaces within the Fondation Vincent van Gogh Arles.

To show the diversity of the non-linear curatorial approach, we worked on a hybrid catalogue with different papers, colors and textures. The publication is divided in five different parts and includes a variety of texts. We have adapted the layout grid to the nature of each text, while separating each category with a blue title page.

We worked with two complementary fonts: TWK Everett, designed by Nolan Paparelli, and WT Kormelink, designed by Jacob Wise. We played with these two fonts, mainly using Kormelink for the first part of the catalogue, and Everett for the appendices. We've also personalized the word ”souffle” (“breath”) throughout the publication: the first f bends over the second f as if a breath makes it change.

We used different textured papers for the cover as well as to separate the different parts of the publication. We played with the architecture of the catalogue itself. The cover has a cut flap to reveal the word “Souffler”, and plays between two papers of different thicknesses and colors. Fedrigoni's Jade paper resembles wind patterns and makes the link with some patterns used by Vincent van Gogh. The binding with blue thread is apparent and shows the various booklets of the catalogue.

The paper for the main part of the publication is coated, specially chosen for photoengraving. Appendices use thinner, glossy paper in an information and magazine register.

Los Prósperos is a conscious gastronomic consultancy founded by Iván Frutos. Based in Madrid, he helps manage emotions to teams and hotel leaders through coaching.

We worked on the creation of the logo and business cards for his brand. We wanted to convey Iván's creativity and uniqueness, while maintaining an elegant look. We achieved this with Tenez, the typeface we chose for the logo, combining its Regular and Italic styles. For the business cards, we decided to add the word “Bendiciones” (“Blessings” in English) in Ivan's handwriting. He told us that it is something he says a lot, both personally and for his business, so we thought it was a resource that added to the brand’s character.

Los Prósperos’ color palette pivots between black and white neutrals and an electric blue accent, which goes hand in hand with Ivan's outgoing personality, as well as creating a focal point of attention in the branding.

Lotair is a prestige vintage curation boutique based in Seoul. With delicacy touch and professional knowledge, Lotair is empowering buyers to extend the life cycle of luxury goods.

South Korean designer Kahyun Kim of Bebasedonbrand opted for Nikolas Type’s Grand Slang as the brand renewal’s main typeface and Robert Slimbach's Acumin for body text, web and functional usages.

American lifestyle journalist and writer Kari Molvar offers a contemporary look at the universe of beauty. Regularly contributing to the New York Times, Forbes, Vogue and the Wall Street Journal, her book with Gestalten goes beyond the superficial to investigate the historical, scientific, and political motifs in what is a booming global industry.

The 256 page full color, stitch bound hardcover book features Grand Slang (Nikolas Type) in a major use for headlines and the cover title, paired with Cardinal (Production Type) and Aktiv Grotesk (Dalton Maag).

We rebranded the business in order to attract more qualified leads to her new all-inclusive portrait photography sessions. Our goal was to create an elegant, yet powerful vibe that conveys the inner strength of women.

After the brand strategy and direction, we started to design the new identity with the brand's goals, mission and vision in mind. In the brand presentation phase, we always create various mockups using the chosen colours and typography with matching photography to better portray how the brand will look once applied to all material. This included an initial website concept presented above, which gives us the main direction in her upcoming website redesign project starting in June 2021.

As collaterals, we've created a business card (two concepts presented, first option chosen), a thank you card (not presented here), as well as a client welcome guide and a pricing guide for internal use. To ensure brand consistency across all platforms we created an Instagram suit containing post and story templates, a profile picture and highlight icons.

Full implementation and launch of the new branding are expected after the end of the website redesign in August 2021.
